The room smelled bad and had too much humidity. the bathroom had a leak and when sent staff to fix it they steal one of my souvenirs and the staff at the counter just raised report of this issue but no one follow up the issue. The rooms and the facilities look deteriorated and not like pictures are showed. The hotel has a breakfast acceptable. The staff at the counter some are helpful but others are not.

DO NOT STAY!!!! Very DIRTY PLACE!!! This has being the worst hotel I have stayed in!!! Since the check in they tried to charge me more than was posted on Expedia. Then the room that was giving to us was dirty and had a really bad smell like someone has being smocking there. I reported it and they gave me another room(and kindly apologize) but still the other room was “clean” but not that clean. It had poor light, things were broken like the bathroom toilet’s lid, the fridge door almost did not close and the doors were the fridge was located was one unexisting and the other broken. The lamps to charge the phones one of them did not worked. And the breaksfasf that was provided was cold like it had ice next to it and it was very poor almost nothing to eat, only eggs bread and juice and yogurt. We checked out today @ 9:30am, if by tomorrow I’ll don’t get my deposit back I’ll reported as fraud. This place is supposed to be non smoking and today when we were going to check out there was a men smoking right outside the door. It a shame this place is like this, it has potential just need attention and a very good remodeling. It does not have elevators and it has second floor rooms. The photos posted on Expedia are from very long time, probably when they opened the hotel. The rooms are far from what is on the actual property.

Terrible Experience - Do Not Stay Here! I stayed at Maingate Lake Resort, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The rug in the room was filthy, and there was a horrible smell throughout the place. Everything was dirty—nothing like the pictures on Google! The overall condition of the hotel is disgusting and far from what you’d expect from any decent place. I strongly advise against staying here, especially if you’re traveling with kids. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.

Disgusting, do not stay here. No blankets for 1 when I got there, just a top sheet. Opened the cabinet and there was Diapers all in there so they didn't check and clean from last people staying. Toilet tissue was stuffed in the door window Ketchup splattered all along side the wall. Rooms smelled old and moldy. Terrible would never stay again

La habitación en muy mal estado, sucia, habitación con mucho olor a humedad, y no estaba bien limpia, mi hijo le brotó una alergia muy fuerte, tuve que llevarlo con asistencia médica, fue solicitado cambio de habitación, sin embargo siguieron los problemas de la habitación, los baños no funcionan correctamente, se solicito que hicieran limpieza al día siguiente y el personal de limpieza no llego. Se presentó la queja a la administración y lo que nos dijeron fue que si no estábamos satisfechos que nos podíamos retirar.

I will never go there again!… stain carpet that looked like blood stains, bad odor in room, noisy air condition, bulb lights did not work at entrance and bed stand and could not charge my phone near bed stand. Booked through Expedia at one price when I got there they added $24 for extra fees. I had no choice since I was so tired of driving and it was ~ 7:30 pm. I will never recommend this place. Breakfast said until 10 am but they only had coffee when I got there at 9 am… it’s a dirty, stinky rip off. Saw a moving worm late night in the bathroom floor and took a picture of it for proof… zero stars!
