I have stayed at several Motel 6. It's a budget motel, so I don't expect much, and it's always been fine. But this location is a dump. First off, the parking lot and balconies are full of sketchy people loitering about and smoking. Made me feel unsafe about my car in the parking lot. But the worse thing was when i walked into the room, the smell of cigarette was so pungent that it seemed like someone had just finished smoking in there. I went to the reception and informed them about the issue and requested another room, since I had booked a non-smoking room. The front desk lady told me with an attitude: "we gave you a non-smoking room but we can't control what people do". She also told me they were fully booked and could not move me, so we were forced to stay in the stinky room. Then to make matters worse, both the bathroom sink and the shower tub were completely clogged. We could not shower because the tub would quickly fill up with water. We also had to brush our teeth over the toilet because the sink was unusable. These people obviously rent a room without caring that it meets the basic standards. They must have known when cleaning about the clogs and about the strong cigarette smell. I paid 80 dollars to spend a night in a stinky room without even being able to shower. I didn't even go ask for a refund because I know how it would go, based on the attitude I was met with when i informed about the smell. Stay away from this place.
