It was a nice place to stay. When we check in at first our room on the bottom floor was flooded because of rain. So they change into a different room which we are happy with that. Maintenance man was very nice to help us out to change room.

We had a truly disappointing and distressing experience during our recent stay. The management was unprofessional and confrontational, and the lifeguards—many of whom appeared young and untrained—were on clear power trips. They were even laughing and celebrating after calling the police and shutting down the pool, which created a traumatic situation for our children. At no point were our kids destroying property, despite what management claimed. Even the police officers on scene disagreed with the staff’s version of events but were obligated to act due to the manager’s behavior. This situation was escalated unnecessarily, and it was clear the issue stemmed from poor staff conduct, not from guests. To make matters worse, the room we stayed in smelled strongly of mold, raising concerns about cleanliness and air quality. I urge ownership to take a hard look at who is representing their property. Management and lifeguard staff need to be reevaluated, and facility maintenance clearly needs attention. What happened was unacceptable and not something any family should have to endure on vacation

Life guards weren't paying any attention they were on the phone and then high five when there was lightning within 10 miles and told everybody get out of the lazy river putting out the pool because lightning only Hits one at the other got locked out of my room for over an hour in my bathing suit got stuck in the elevator had to find my own way out no apologies no explanations had her request a different room thought I was getting a buffet breakfast just a standard make it yourself breakfast nothing like expected disappointed all the way around

The hotel has a small convenient store on the 1st level that is open until midnight- it has everything you could need! The hotel itself isn’t super fancy but the bed was really comfortable and the ac worked great. The restaurant next door had breakfast (you have to pay) and it was so-so, not super bad. But it’s fine if you’re on a time crunch. Every once in a blue you could hear people in the hallway and the door would move a bit and make a sound when other people were opening/closing their doors. Again, as long as you’re not looking for fancy - just comfortable and safe - then definitely opt for the RedLion Orlando Lake Buena Vista!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, service and attention to details - like infused ice water and a board with hours in the lobby - for such a reasonable rate. We've paid more for far less in the past at other places. The room was very spacious even with a king bed, a full sized couch bed (we didn't need it to sleep on, but it was comfortable to sit on), a desk and full size television and hutch for microwave, refrigerator and safe. The decor was more "high-end" than expected. I would give this a 5 star except for some small issues of worn out things: cabinets were very worn, cracked and peeling on the bottom; the shower drain plug needed to be removed so the water could drain because it was broken; the hanging system in the closet wasn't very functional, the suitcase stand was broken; and the microwave was rusted. Otherwise, it was impressive for the price and very comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, the pool area was over-crowded but on a holiday weekend that was not surprising.

All the supervisors were nice and the food was good but that’s all. Overnight general staff was very unprofessional and dismissive. There were roaches in my first room and the AC didn’t work in our second room. Hot tub isn’t cleaning regularly and had lots of dirt in it first thing in the morning. I got a style in my eye from sheets not being clean and not changed everyday. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and I travel once a month around the world

The hotel was nice, clean, but dated. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had nice pressure. TV was big, however, there was no TV guide, and not easy to find channels. Sadly, we spent more time in the room than we had planned. We booked this hotel because of its lazy river, but unfortunately, we were unable to use it. The lazy river opens later than the pool so no morning floating...it opens later in the day than we'd like, and unfortunately, the weather kept us from enjoying it in the evening. Our room was "upgraded" at check-in, however, I caution you, a pool view comes with the noise from the pool area on all floors. We would request no pool view next time. We stayed on a holiday weekend and there were many families with lots of kids running up and down the hallways...you could hear everything in the hallways..."paper thin walls" as my husband would say. The restaurant is not open for dinner, only breakfast, but you can eat at the poolside bar and grille...if you're looking for a quick bite, it's fine, but by no means is it a sit-down dinner...everything is served in to-go containers. The breakfast buffet was more of a continental breakfast as opposed to an actual buffet, however, it was included with our room so no real complaints.

We check in without a problem, set everything in room, we travel with some medications that need to be in a refrigerator, first thing we always do is put them in the refrigerator. Took a break after a long drive, we went to check on the medicine only to find out the refrigerator wasn't working. We called front desk, they told us, the there were no more rooms available nor refrigerators. No problem lets bring some ice from the ice machine. Surprise! Machine isn't working 😕

So so of a stay

It was ok, Friday and Saturday had a bit of a wild crowd and security was there on Saturday. Door on first floor to pool was taken off hinges and left open so anybody could go in and out. Thank god for double locks on hotel room door. Nobody seemed to take care of that matter. Seemed almost like a free for all. Food and drinks are quite pricy. It’s was $35 for one drink and a cheeseburger.

When we arrived the hotel smelled like Marijuana in the hall way which was very disappointing i know this is the people but there was no cleanliness also about the property. When we got to our room the tv was giving us issues and most channels didnt work. The lazy river kept getting closed andtl the life guards loved to see it closed and would take their time to open it back up. The weather wasnt good but they are way too stricted. You had like 7 life guards in the lazy river when its 3ft but in the actual 6-8 foot pool no life guards. Also, on the last day we were there when it was finally time to enjoy it with good weather the lazy river was not open on time. It took the life gaurds like 1 hour in a half to get all together to open it. Once we got into the lazy river we had to wait 2 hours before someone got off their tube for us to use it. There is not enough tubes. Once we finally got it the lazy river was filthy. All that money spent on life guards and no cleanliness. The breakfast was ok but when we got there there was no one to greet us and the waffle machine had run out. Towels by the pool ran out and the service they give was horrible. Our room the toilet clogged and we had to call like 5 times for it to get fixed. Overall we wont be staying here again was very unpleasant. The kids had fun in the pools but you get what you pay for.
