for only $70 a night you can’t really do much better, i wouldn’t pay more than $100 a night though. it’s clean, a little outdated and beat up though. the blankets and towels leave something to be desired. it could be a lot worse for the price though so we’ll be back. also the sushi restaurant surprisingly isn’t bad at all, the chef we met was super kind and made good sushi. the convenience store has a little bit of anything you could possibly need. it’s also only like 6 minutes from universal so that’s awesome. it sometimes had a hint of the smell of weed but only in the hallways and it wasn’t overpowering. the bathroom was a tight squeeze but the shower was nice.

Overall it was a very enjoyable stay. The linens and room was clean and large. I liked that there is a gated parking lot, which made me feel safe. Check in was quick and easy as well, but the receptionist didn’t share any information with me about the hotel (like check out time, amenities of the hotel, etc). The cleaning staff was also pretty loud during the day, but at night I found it to be a peaceful stay.

The room was dirty. The carpets seem to have never been cleaned as I went to clean a water spill from my son and the towel came up black. The pool closed early. The front desk staff was rude upon check in. Also you will get bombarded by a lady trying to sell you a time share and she is like a hawk. She was very nice but she didn't give up and all we wanted to do was get our exhausted toddler up to the room to lay down. A maintenance man came to the door saying he needed to check our shower and after he did he left a bunch of dirt and nasty water in there. Which wasn’t there prior because we had just showered. When we checked in the employee told us it was $50 for early check in and we paid it. While paying and getting our key the guests being helped next to us are being told by the employee “if you guys wait a half hour I won’t have to charge you the $50” it would’ve been nice for our representative to have offered that to us but we had just paid. She even looked at her coworker w the side eye because she knew we heard her. Overall horrible experience and never going back.

As always, a perfect trip! They take great care of us and keep our dog safe (trust me when I say finding a good dog friendly hotel in the area is difficult!!). Love staying here - everyone is so kind, they keep it well maintained and I never worry.

Found that most staff were very helpful and polite but several reception staff could not help with basic issues, security excellent very helpful. The lifts could do with a major overhall although no issues, would have been nice if tgey had a bar on site, other than the one attached to japanese restaurant but this was very nice, grounds well maintenance, housekeeping what can i say so polite and could not fault well done ladies
