Overall a Nice Stay

Staff was great, room was fine, pool area with bar and grill was nice. Parking was $20 a night. For that I would expect security or something.

we have been coming to this property and its sister hotel for the last few years. this is the first time we had ever had a bad experience to the point where we were going to leave. We are smokers and have never had this issue. we didn't even have an issue the first night we stayed . (we stayed for the weekend). Saturday night we were sitting in our car smoking a cigarette for the night and the security guard literally turned around after walking past us and harrassed us in our car and said we were not allowed to smoke on property. after dealing with him we went in to speak the the front desk and he continued to say the same thing, mind you they have ash trays around the property. I asked for a manager and he said there was nothing he could do until morning and all he could do was just let the manager know. me being upset i walked over to the sister hotel and talked to the front desk girl that was there and she was amazing. she explained that we were not wrong and that we are allowed to smoke in the areas. she even went as far as calling the security officers manager and telling them the situation because she didn't want us to be upset. THE SISTER hotel got us to stay not the hotel we were staying at. so we will now only stay at the sister hotel and no longer at this one which is unfortunate. and by the way not even an apology from the night clerk or the security guard.

The beds & pillows were very comfortable. The room was well designed, & we loved the beverage area with a mini fridge & microwave. The included breakfast was very good! Overall, it was a great stay!

I rate my overall experience a solid 4. The reasons are as followed: Pros: -great customer service. -Close proximity to the parks and about a 13min drive to the Orlando Airport. -spacious and clean rooms(comfy beds) -laundry room (@3.50 per load on floors 2, 4 and 5) washer and dryers are Samsung front loaders. -(walkable: CVS, pizza spot, Panera bread) across the street you will find Wendy’s and other food options - Starbucks with limited menu in lobby. -great pool, splash pad and hot tub(bit dirty) -great bar at poolside. -quiet on the 4th floor rm 1414. -shuttle service to sea world and other parks near by. Con’s: -free breakfast(which was horrible) no flavor, tasteless and same dining options every day. Due to how disgusting the food was, I was unable to finish even the average apple juice. The breakfast was cold and as I scanned the room, I noticed the disappointment on other people’s faces. - Paid parking $20 per day. I wouldn’t be too upset about this option if the “free” breakfast was decent.

Great double queen bed room with comfortable pullout sofa. We were 4 women but can sleep 5. Great free breakfast. Omelette, biscuits and gravy were delicious. Staff friendly, professional and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

The room appeared clean when we first arrived. The next night, when we arrived back to our room, we had live bugs walking on the bed and some dead bugs on the floor and in the bathroom.

Enjoyed our stay very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff very pleasant. Only down fall was the hidden fees and having to pay for parking. Also there was a 200 dollars difference from what the site said. Other then that's we really enjoyed our stay. Would have stayed other day or two of it wasn't for that.

I stayed here a 2nd time because I knew the room was big enough for 5 of us. The continental breakfast is decent. We tried to take the shuttle home from universal but couldn't find the location. They need to update with better directions! The room was clean, however the bathroom with the toilet, the soap bar just slides off the sink. It needs a soap holder. They only put a wash cloth in there to dry your hands with. There is no full length mirror which I don't like. They need more towels hooks. Lighting in the bathroom was terrible. None of these are deal breakers and I would probably stay there again.

As wherein normally other hotels would avail their guests coffee 24 hours or fresh iced citrus fruit or even plain iced water by the main lobby, disappointed that this was not available Front desk, receptionist, Nick was exceptionally very welcoming and hospitable. Service with a smile Answered all our questions and offered suggestions for visiting places of interest All areas of the hotel was well kept and very clean. The pool & jacuzzi was very inviting & fitness room was also well kept It was also convenient to have shuttle service to nearby park attractions
