Not standard SpringHill Suites but ok

We try to book SpringHill Suites on regular for our travels, so we booked this one as well for a few nights. It is definitely not the same standard as other SpringHill Suites in terms of layout, room options, and amenities. Looks to be another brand originally that has been retrofitting to be a SpringHill Suites, which was slightly disappointing. Room and property are showing age/wear, just looks a little long in the tooth compared to newer SpringHill Suites. Amenities are average, resort fee seemed off for what little was offered. We did not use the shuttle service as it only went to Disney properties and we were going to Universal. Paid to park and had a $5 resort fee tacked on to that. Being an Orlando resort, it definitely focused on families going to Disney and as a result, breakfast was always crazy busy no matter the time of day. As for the room, felt older and shown its wear. Couch wasnt super comfortable, halls and carpets had scuffs or wear marks all over. Not the worst rebranded SpringHill Suite ive stayed in, but definitely not the standard quality of other SpringHill Suites.

I checked out of the villa today. The area is amazing ! We nearly stayed in the actual hotel. On the other hand the room I was assigned smelled like a grown man’s urine . I told the front desk the first night I was there (Friday) My flight flew in late so it was too late to have a housekeeper and they were fully booked. I was not accommodated for or cared about. I called the front desk they had a manager call my room back , and told me she will reinstate me for Friday night and change my room the next morning . That never happened . They told me to come and grab Lysol wipes and spray to clean it my self ?. I declined and wait until the next day…. Next day came they still didn’t accommodate me and this property completely laughed in my face and discriminated against me . I’m not sure but I spoke to a manger named “Ashely” I tried asking for her last name but she walked off and ignored me . I have our conversation on recording because she was really disrespectful and unpleasant I’m not sure how she is a manager and do not know how to handle customers complaints.

This is our second stay at this property, and we truly enjoyed it once again. The location is fantastic, with several restaurants within walking distance. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The hotel itself was very clean, although it does feel a bit outdated. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend it for its convenience and service.

Although the final price you pay on their website ,says" taxes and fees included ",they still charge you 25 dollars for self parking,and 5 dollars distination fees.The sofa in the room is nasty, so old and all stains ,the carpet outside is dirty ,coffeee spilled oll over .never again to that site .

The stay was fine, my only issue was that the playground was broken and had caution yellow tape around the slide. This should be fixed asap, because it is something that would deter me from staying here. Everything else went well.

The staff were amazing, very friendly and professional. But the most amazing staff was house keeping. They are super detailed in cleaning our rooms each night of our stay. Although there was no bar in our hotel, you can walk right across to the next hotel in their round about to get a drink in their hotel lobby.
