Star Island is very outdated and disgustingly filthy. I had a three bedroom villa and all three bathrooms were filthy. From the the showers and tubs to the scum on the mirrors. To add to it staff from the gate all the way to inside the lobby was rude. I had a two night stay and the not onve cleaned my bathrooms after I told them how dirty they were. The property and the rooms are very outdated. The only thing they did was add flooring to what use to be the God awful mirriors around the king bed. Then my husband left his bag and they pretended to no have it at first. Then they searchwd through it got his weapon turned it in to the police (understandable) yet they did not know whobthey turned it in to. They got no contact information and didn't give our contact information. This place has went down tremendously.

Everything was nice but when we were entering the guy at the gait stated he didnt think my dog was a service dog, i had to get out her ID to prove it. I dont believe he should be judging. He could have been more polite about asking to see her id without putting his opinion there. Service animals are for multiple reasons and they all have different jobs to perform.

We loved the spacious rooms with a full kitchen! Even though we didmt cook our 2 nights there, we like a lot of drinks and snacks. The resort is gated and feels safe. We had a ton of fun at the upstairs bar doing karaoke. Will definitely stay again!
