Summer Bay sells itself - we already can't wait to go back! Great staff, beautiful property, low key, welcoming, comfortable... I can't say enough Great things! It became one of our favorites from the moment we checked in! Relaxing vacation place with multiple activity options on site with a convenient location.

Unsafe, Unprofessional, and Unreachable

Our experience at this property was absolutely unacceptable. Upon arrival, we witnessed people openly using illegal drugs on the premises. The atmosphere felt completely unsafe, and we made the decision not to stay in the room at all. We went to the front desk to request a refund and were left standing in the lobby for over an hour. Even though we could clearly hear their phone ringing, the staff refused to answer it and kept claiming they weren’t receiving any calls. We also tried calling the hotel multiple times ourselves and got no answer. To make matters worse, Hotels.com attempted to contact the hotel several times on our behalf to process a refund, but the property never responded or cooperated. Their complete lack of professionalism, concern for safety, and refusal to communicate is beyond unacceptable. We have since filed a chargeback with our credit card company. Do not stay here — it is not safe, and they do not care about their guests..

The front desk when checking in was not a very warm experience and I did not like my room at all.. The young clerk was not knowledgeable nor did he explain what he needed from me to check in.. The cleaning ppl were always in front of my room area made me feel unsafe because you don’t know who is who.. I would recommend cleaning rooms early in the am and not during the stay times..

The Employees were courteous and the property is beautiful. We had a junior condo and it worked perfectly! The only negatives were the washer didn't work properly and the mattress wasn't super comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Summer Bay again, the next time we visit FL.

The room was average. Nice to have a kitchen area. During the week it was pretty quiet. Over the weekend it got loud and pretty rowdy down by the larger pool. We did enjoy the amenities. Pools are kept up okay - just busy so did get dirty looking at times. played mini golf and was fun. The water park could use updating and is very cold so we did not get to use or enjoy that area. The shuttle was nice to have to the parks. Easy to use and set up. Location is great with being walkable to publix.

The property looks nice and is well kept.The apts are well equipped, clean and comfortable. There are 6 heated pools, bbq grills, kids playgrounds, and plenty of activities. Unfortunately the check in staff was very unprofessional and lacks of good customer service skills on top of that our assigned room was also assigned to another family which was able to open our door at 11:28pm when we were ready to go to sleep and our keys deactivated automatically fortunately we had the latched on and the door only opened half way, they were shocked to open our door and find out their assigned room was already occupied and apologized to us. They were noticeably tired as well and carrying asleep kids and a baby. I called customer desk and told them about what happed and they had the audacity to tell me to go there myself to fix the issue. I was very tired ready to go to sleep and have some health issues. I kindly requested for them to fix what they caused and to activate my keys or send me new ones, one 1h later I was still waiting for someone to come I called again and they finally sent a security which asked what happened and I kindly explained the whole situation. He apologized for what just happened but was instructed to tell us to go to the front desk which I wasn’t able to do at that moment. He offered himself to activate the keys and come back. In the morning housekeeping knocks at the door at 9am by the time I got to the door the lady already opened our door. Smh
