First, Hakeem at the front desk was awesome. Although backed up he was able to get us a room with no waiting. Be aware there is a $20 parking fee. “It’s on our website” I heard someone tell another guest. A money grab.room was small but clean and modern. Bathroom was great.

I don't know why but the water smells terribly bad, pure sulfur. I'm now staying at a competitor hotel across the road from Tru and the water doesn't smell bad at all, so it can't be the city's fault. Our hair and clothes were stinking the whole day because of this, and brushing our teeth caused us gag reflex due to the terrible smell. This was awful. The parking is excessively expensive. Since there are no other options around, and literally everyone parking there was staying at the hotel, the 20$ extra are basically a hidden fee on the stay price. I felt cheated regarding this and will not be staying at this hotel again for these 2 reasons.

Excellent check in. Only required one night after flight from UK and 16 hour day. A few problems in the room, which in fairness we didn’t ask to be rectified. Room 535 Couldn’t get TV on Couldn’t operate window blind Shower leaking when bath tap was selected
