Lack of affordable food options. Bed was tight against the window making it very awkward for the second person to get in the bed. Other than very friendly and accommodating staff nothing to elevate this properly above average accommodation with ackward room design. Will not return.

Left my phone and some clothes in the room at checkout. They found it for me and mailed it to me. Went the extra mile to take care of us. Rooms had great size and views. Cool rooftop views and bar too. Great pizza in the lobby

I would stay again
The hotel was convenient to Universal Parks. It is best to walk to Sapphire Springs and take the boat instead of the bus. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the room spacious. I needed more towels and coffee. The staff bought it to be in 15 minutes.

This hotel fits the bill when it comes to staying on property at Universal. Our group of nine stayed at Aventura, and it was perfect for us. We had not children traveling with us, and found Aventura to be very calm and quiet which was a lovely change of pace from the parks. It was very nice to come "home" to peace after a busy day in the parks! The proximity to the water taxis via Sapphire Falls was excellent and we chose to use those over the shuttles. It's less than a five-minute walk from Aventura and the signs to Sapphire Falls are clear and extremely helpful! It's our favorite way into City Walk as you go through security in Sapphire Falls instead of in the City Walk hub. We never waited more than 15 minutes for a water taxi, and only waited that long upon exiting the park one evening. We can't recommend Aventura enough and will definitely be using this hotel during our next stay!

The property is new construction modern, contemporary, clean. Staff friendly. The food is ok nothing to write home about. The only complaint I have is that they don’t clean rooms daily. They clean every other day. They didn’t share that with me at check in and after a long day and night at the park we came back to no towels and messy beds. Not the end of the world but when I’m at hotel with a full room of kids I like them to clean and tidy up daily. Our room was by the elevator and we could Hear the elevator beeping all night so ask for a room not by the elevator. Otherwise we enjoyed it.
