Great location but cleaning issues.
Great location to get to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure with very regular free shuttle. Volcano Bay is behind the hotel so literally an under 3 min walk to get in which is great! Staff all very friendly and helpful with queries on the parks. In our 7 days staying there we only had one visit from cleaning staff to our room. The reception said this was due to shortage of staff. Therefore we had to keep asking reception for toilet roll, clean towels etc. There were a lot of guests doing the same and from reading other reviews this areas to be a long term problem with the hotel.

My brother and I had a great experience at Universal’s Aventura Hotel. The room was spacious, with an amazing view of the parks, and the check-in/check-out process was quick and easy. The staff were friendly, making us feel welcome during our stay. I liked the hotel’s modern, low-key feel. That was a nice break from the busy theme parks. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Universal Studios.

I love staying at the Aventura. It's quiet and feels comfy. I love the Halloween overlay that is set up during Halloween Horror Nights. The only feedback I have is perhaps the cleanliness of the rooms. Upon checking in, there was a faint red stain on one bed, and the second bed had a stain on the sheet. Also, we only requested housekeeping services one time, but it seemed like the room wasn't swept (there was some pieces of trash left under the bed), and it appeared that the bed was just remade without changing the sheets and we were given new towels. Also, the food could be better, options wise.

This hotel was very clean and the room was amazing. Being able to control the tv, lights and AC from the tablet was pretty cool. Our room was even close to the elevators and it was so quiet. Loved the free shuttle to and from the park. That was very convenient. This was our first time staying here and it won’t be the last.

If this was a standard run of the mill hotel, I’d give it 5 stars. It has everything that a great hotel needs - however this is a Universal hotel that is devoid of all theming, while priced just as high as some of it’s sister properties. Overall the hotel is *good*, but it’s missing the *great* feeling that some of the other Universal properties will provide during your stay.
