Good location, decent space in rooms

Room was ok, basic but clean and provided enough space for us. Kitchenette area helped as we got some food and drink from local Supermarket (on site food and drink is quite expensive! We had a good room, 6th floor, overlooking pool - however 2 out of 4 lifts were out of order which meant large queue and big waits to get to and from the room - this needs addressing! Also reception area too slow, check in takes ages and not enough staff at the desks - we waited one evening (the ladies toilets downstairs were a mess and no paper) 30 mins to report an issue that needed sorting out (that shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place) - over all good tho! Not sure I would come again tho!

Our key cards got disconnected from the lock which caused us to stand in line for about 45mins to get new keys. This apparently happened to most of the resort, other then that we enjoyed ourselves.

The property had roaches. I saw several roached in my room, in Tower 1 room 1160. The first night we arrived, right after check-in and a few more 2 days later

Our stay at the Dockside Inn in Orlando was fantastic from start to finish! Check in and check out were incredibly quick and easy, which made traveling with the family stress free. We loved the complimentary shuttle service to the parks and the early admission, it made such a difference in our trip. The rooms were freshed up daily with new towels and sheets done, which I truly appreciate since some hotels have stopped offering this service, and everything felt fresh and well maintained. Plus, the location is super convenient for getting to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Room was clean and towels, linens were easily accessible by text message. Pools were great, lots of chairs available so you don’t have to rush to get one. Food in cafeteria was mediocre, but good when you’re in a pinch. The only things I can complain about is the elevators…it takes a good 10 mins to get one. Request a ground level room. Lines of people waiting to flood into them. Also, in the evenings and at night the pop machines never had ice in them.

Did not like breakfast… opted for Starbucks the following morning. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Shower water with No pressure. They only cleaned our room twice in 5 days. Elevators are super slow with too much traffic, need more elevators!!!!

We stayed for 8 days. Bathroom air vent doesn't work since day 1. Requested repair twice but never show up at all as they promised they will fix the next day twice. The Front Desk "man" was very kind but the Information Counter "man" was rude when talking to guests. Food at the lobby was average being quick eats as expected. Food court staff were very kind. 1 of the Universal hotel shuttle bus driver was also rude, his word "Those people who doesn't care about anybody else needs to move back so more people could fit in" with mouthing tone. If he could use an announcement speaker or speak louder instead of using his dissatisfying talking to himself tone, maybe passengers could hear him instead of only a few people near him witnessing him accusing passengers not caring for others. So overall, 3 stars is what I rated.

Very clean and staff was pleasant. The pool clean and spacious there is a pool bar but no food, you have to go to the lobby for food. The food options are not great all so cal options. Most guest were ordering door dash. The resort is very quiet and relaxed and close to all attractions. Just wish there were other food options and maybe an ice cream shop for late night.
