Front desk literally lied to us when we asked for the highest floor possible she said they don’t have anything available after pretending to go and talking to the manager. And she placed us on the first level with a view to the dog park, turns out these rooms are for families with pets and kids when my wife is allergic to dogs. They did fix it by moving us to a different higher floor level that “ was not available” when we actually asked for it.

I love the way we where greeted by the front desk her name was Mariangel and she went above and beyond to welcome us and start the trip off with a huge positive she even gave us a complimentary breakfast and a room upgrade facing the lake and jetty for river boat taxi because we where celebrating our honeymoon she is a very helpful universal staff member great to have this when you arrive.

This property is best bang for your buck if you’re trying to experience Universal Studios, Orlando. I travelled with my wife and 2 daughter 7 and 9 years old. This was by far the best family trip we have ever had. The rooms are super clean, updated nice, staff is top notch. Water taxi right to the parks is 5 minutes and beautiful for pics etc on the way. You have to eat at the water tavern the place is well priced and the food is incredible . It’s attached to the resort! I’d only have one small complaint and that is the Dutch restaurant is quite expensive for on the go food. The pool is amazing as well. Overall this is a 9 out of 10 for us! We will be back! My main recommendation is to order DoorDash to save money on on the go food prices and drinks. For the expense can get out of hand over 7 days! It takes 10-20 minutes to setup and order. They meet you right at the front many families did it so don’t feel odd or cheap to do it. It’s just smart plain and simple. I highly highly recommend staying here as I said this was our best family trip ever!!

Great on site restaurants, easy access via water taxi to Universal Citywalk and the two Universal parks. Cant be beat. Hallways could use some repair (baseboards coming off and scuffed badly, lifting carpet), sometimes dirty.
