The resort was nice and the room with balcony was beautiful. The staff that checked us in was very nice and friendly. I believe his name was Jake? However, the staff that checked us out was extremely rude and not friendly. I waited for him to call me over as he had his head down looking at the computer. It wasn't until another staff had let him know I was standing there. He did not greet me and I said "hi, I would like to check out please." He did not say anything, did his thing on the computer and then just handed me the receipt. Did not say a single word. It was kind of disappointing, as I walked away, I can hear other staff saying "thank you for staying with us, hope you enjoyed your stay" to other guests. Maybe he was having a bad day but I watched him greet other guests after me and talked to them. Hate to pull the race card but I'm Chinese and the other guest was Caucasian. I also experienced rude customer service at the cafe in the resort. The staff made drinks for the customers behind me in line and when she was done and walked back to the coffee machine, I can hear her say "Oops." I politely asked if my order was coming and the staff rudely said "it's coming." I asked why the customers behind me got their order first and the staff responded "it depends on the order it comes out, and they were first." I looked at her shocked as she did not apologize for forgetting my order but completely lied. I think staff needs training on treating all guests/customers equally.
