What a treasure! We were passing through and were so happy we found it. I never sleep 8 hours - but I did there. The staff was welcoming, there is an elevator, the room is huge, beautiful, and comfortable. There is a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Oh, that was one negative. The in room coffee was not good, but the coffee purchased in the cafe was gorgeous - so I was happy. The study room next to the cafe was beautiful.

The Bang in Bangor.

Trying to find a nice place to stay to end our Maine trip in style wasn’t easy until I found this gem. The Ursa is beautiful. The room was wonderful in the old building. We had beautiful tall windows. The front desk was so nice. It was the Bang in Bangor!

Very comfortable and convenient. On campus so perfect for coming into town for University sporting events. Friendly staff, nice coffee shop. The main study is a time capsule of UMaine treasures (old year books, S.King novels, and other cool knick knacks. 20% discount if you have a student at U (but only if you reserve directly)

The property is on U of Maine Orono campus, an existing building converted to hotel. Nice building on clean and well maintained grounds. Free parking. Low key helpful staff. The room was excellent but tight with a king size bed. We'll look them up if we go up there again. Anurag
