Good hotel in a quieter neighborhood of Osaka. Close enough to restaurants and shops and the subway station. Rooms are small but well appointed and the bed is comfortable. The shower is great and the staff are friendly.

Located handily in between the busy Umeda and Shinsaibashi/Namba districts, this branch of APA Hotel is located a stone's throw from the 'Kitahama' stop on the Osaka Metro and Keihan railway. The Keihan railway is particularly useful for day trips to Kyoto. The team at this hotel were friendly and helpful, including helping with our queries in English. Facilities including self-serve laundry were appreciated. Rooms are small (as is normal for Japan), I would not recommend 2 people in a standard double room unless travelling with very little luggage. The area around the hotel is quiet, but there are amenities including Starbucks, MOS Burger, a Supermarket (in the nearby Kitahama Place) and multiple combinis in the immediate vicinity. We had no troubles with the air conditioning and were able to set the temperatures of the rooms with no issues.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff, convenient stores only 2 minutes walk away, about 10 minutes walk from closest train station, plenty of dining and drinking options around, unfortunately had building site next door so was loud during the day.

Perfect location! Very close to drugstore and convenience stores not even 1 minute walk away. Also has a laundry service that was very useful and convenient. Lots of food options nearby and close to the station. Room was very small but tidy and had everything you need. Air conditioning turns off when you leave the room and you have to turn it on when you get back. Not a huge deal but if you want to come back to a cool room you’ll have to wait a bit.

The hotel itself is great and the staff amazing. My only issue is that there is no parking and the parking surrounding the hotel is VERY expensive. So please keep that in mind. But the staff, the hotel and amenities are amazing
