I loved that the hotel was a 3 minute walk from the Hakone-Yamato train station, so it made transportation really quick and easy. The hotel was located right on the river and the meals were delicious

Nice, cozy place to stay. If I had one gripe, it would be the lack of an extra pillow. One pillow is not great when the pillows are not that great. Other than that, had a pleasant stay.

This was the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel. I love everything about it from the breakfast and onsen to the great staff. The only complaint I have is that the rooms are too small and beds are not comfortable.

Very close to Dotonburi and other shopping districts yet quiet. Inside the hotel I felt a busy and rushed vibe for all the meals and during check in. More like the service at home in America; not as nice or relaxed as other hotels I stayed at in Japan. This was fine but I enjoyed my other hotels much more.
