The cleaning service that was cleaning my room was ruined by jeans. Stains appeared on the jeans, as after bleach. The hotel staff didn’t even try to deal with the problem. There were only bread and bakery products for breakfast. The room is worn out and in need of repair. I don’t recommend the hotel
The best thing about this hotel was the location. Walkable to Namba which is a central and vibrant area, but also close to the public transport system which allows you to get to anywhere else in Osaka easily. The room was a good size, with a sofa too which was pleasant, however, it felt really dark, dated and dingey. The toilet was a bit smelly and the carpet didn't seem cleaned. Despite there being a rail and hangers, I would have liked to have had some hooks to hang towels, coats, etc. as there weren't any. There was no bedside table and the air con and power supply were right above your head which didn't seem practical to me. Also this hotel is on a very busy road and every night I was woken up by very loud revving motorbikes between the hours of 1am- 4am, even being on the top floor, the sound shook the entire room so had terrible sleep quality. They've started renovating some of the rooms so I'd hope they're putting in some soundproof walls. Otherwise I would avoid using this hotel.
Easy check-in with luggage storage! We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Relief, loved that they had breakfast included but we didn’t know they also had free ice cream, drinks and alcoholic beverages during certain times the day too! Room was pretty spacious for two people and very comfortable, we liked the little kitchenette too. Only thing that was odd was the entryway lighting is very dim and there is a full length mirror with no lighting in that corner, it was pitch black so we couldn’t even use it. There’s a full sized shoe rack with actual slippers instead of those typically disposable ones. Bonus: they had a luggage scale we borrowed - great for travellers on the go!
For the price we paid this hotel was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is immaculately clean, the room was very spacious and you could connect your phone to watch netflix! Very good location. The only downfall was it was extremely noisey outside with traffic whilst trying to sleep, so make sure you pack your earplugs. Overall a fantastic hotel that I would highly recommend.
Our stay was good. Breakfast is filled with very nice assorted breads, drinks etc.
We had one big issue: after cleaning our room, staff forgot our door open, not unlocked, OPEN.
I had to comb through everything to make sure we werent robbed, plus the stress of the whole situation. Glad nothing was taken, but not good that it happened at all. Told staff at desk, they seemed surprised, but didnt explained much.
Hotel and rooms are clean and area is good, walkable to subway and convenience store is right beside the hotel.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The room we had was bigger than what we expected for a hotel in Japan. It was a good size for a family of 3 (with a toddler). The room was also divided with a door leading to the entrance of the room, which was nice. There was a mini stove with a sink. We liked how the bath was separate from the bathroom. The only downside was how the bathroom smelled of urine. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay including the bread, ice cream, and alcohol they offer for free. The hotel was also only a short walk (5-10 mins) to a train station. It was nice to have a grocery store and convenient store around the area.
One of the most spacious rooms I stayed in while in Japan, and a 10-15 min walk to Dotonbori

Very very disappointed
I have stayed in more than 100 hotels in my travel, this hotel, I rate it the worst in everything. It is so dated, and dirty (near elevator, only 1 small elevator serving 10 floor).
There no usb sockets in all rooms. Booked hotel because of onsen, but was only told onsen is closed, no other informations were provided, booked 4 rooms for 2 nites.
Free breakfast, only breads!! This is my first time that a hotel wanted to charge extend 1 hour for checkout (¥500)
Checkout is 10.00am. Photos provided in booking website, does not match the actual hotel. I’m very disappointed with what is advertise and I had paid for the 4 rooms is a rip off.
Stayed in this hotel for 4 days, was a bit disappointed. The pictures look so modern, it’s actually on the older side. As soon as we enter the room on our first day, the washroom smells like public washroom (or at least, some public washroom smell better)complained to the reception the next day, was told there is no other room available. Have to go to convenient store to buy air freshener to help mask the smell. The smell never went away, we have to stay like that for the rest of our stay. It is good they have the breakfast, and free ice cream and drinks all day, other than that it’s not what we expected.
