The bathroom was smelly, probably due to humidity and the age of the facilities. The rooms need to be renovated now. The bathroom door was old and dirty. It is impossible to sell a room like this, it was very deceiving. The closet was dark, no light inside means no way to see what to choose to wear. The room was very tight, there was no space for opening the carry-ons, why would Nikko Hotel do this??? Far from comfortable, this was unacceptable. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Everything was good except for the room only has one AC vent, so it was very humid and stuffy. Not to mention it’s central controlled AC as there is a mall downstairs. You cannot go below 20 degrees Celsius. The sheets and pillows weren’t comfortable. Location is prime though, and subway station is directly below the building.

Hotel Nikko in Osaka was incredible. The hotel is impeccably clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel seemed busy every day we were there, but the staff does a great job at moving lines for check-in and help quickly. Very close to the train station (across the street) and walkable to some of the main attractions in Osaka, including Dotonbori. There are premium shops nearby, including a mall across the street. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We traveled with our nine year old son and they even included a robe for him, which was a nice touch. If you are traveling to Osaka, Hotel Nikko is one of the best options out there. We really enjoyed our short stay in Osaka in part because of our great experience at Hotel Nikko.

It was a pleaseant stay. Strategic hotel, in the middle of the town, so many shopping and food options right in front of the hotel. The train station is under the hotel, you can just go directly by elevator.

This hotel is in a great location in Osaka. It is a few blocks away from Dotonbori and provides access to the subway system through the basement. The restaurants upstairs are pricey but there are more reasonably priced options in the basement and through the subway stations. Spacious rooms and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Would return!
