The room is typical Japanese small and bathroom even not enough space to turn around. The breakfast is fair and not much variety of food. The hotel located a bit far from Namba metro with 8-10 minutes walk.

The hotel was clean. Despite it being noisy outside, it was quiet in the room. Be advised that the rooms are very small. There were 3 of us in a room with 3 separate beds. We all fit, but it a little tight with our luggage. They definitely needed someone else at the desk during peak times because there was always a line. We were only there one night so it was perfect. If you are tall, the bathroom ceiling is low. I would return if I need a short stay of a day or two.

Yhis is our 1st time in Osaka so we decided to try this hotel as it is opposite of Koromo market. The hotel is near to the train station and all the shopping and dining areas so it is very convenient. We booked 2 rooms and were satisfied with the room service. The rooms were always cleaned when we were back. Best gesture from the hotel was to offer free coffee throughout the day and free snacks from 3-7pm for hotel guests which is very thoughtful. All the counter staffs were very friendly too. Strongly recommended.

Room size is considerably small. Large bathroom though. Watch out for the platform steps when going to bathroom. Only two washing machine available. Limited amenities. Only heating a/c during winter. Housekeeping is average. They only tidy up the beds and replace the towels. Very short walk to Nippombashi station. Lots of food options in the vicinity. Prices at Kuromon market is ex. Better options at Sennichimae shopping street

The hotel is conveniently located near Dontonburi area. Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly even though we had a language barrier. They helped with our luggage transfer.

The b-Namba hotel is positioned well for those wishing to go shopping and attend the Dotonbori area. Unfortunately the hotel itself does have caveats which can make a guest stay challenging. First to note is the centrally controlled ‘air conditioning’. This was in fact centrally controlled heating, meaning that in the guest rooms, guests can only turn the air conditioning on to (in our case) 26.5 degrees Celsius. This made mornings very uncomfortable as the sun heated the large windows and in turn, the whole room. This made our time in the room very unpleasant as it was persistently hot. The hotels response to this complaint was to open the window. However, I would strongly advise against this, as my partner and I both suffered numerous large mosquito bites as a consequence. The noise from the below street also is heard clearly from even the higher floors. This did impact sleeping even with the window closed and latched. Another principal concern is the lack of waterproofing between the bath and the adjacent walls. Water seems to seep under the bath and creates a very unpleasant damp smell that can not be removed, necessitating the door remain closed to prevent it seeping into the room. The restaurant and breakfast buffet were lovely and what would be normally expected. The front staff were very pleasant and kind though communication could be somewhat challenging.

They turned the air conditioning off and our room was 26 degrees, very warm! Opening the window helped most days, but some days it was too warm to provide any relief. Really good location and the lobby donuts are insanely good
