Great sized, comfortable room with modern facilities (a lot easier to walk around than our previous Japan hotel!) with a very comfortable bed after a lot of walking. Staff were fantastic and friendly. They helped us with bar choices and send our luggage to our next hotel. WiFi worked very well. Will definitely look at staying at a Moxy in the future.

The vibe of the property is lively and you have plenty of room at lobby to hang out. The staffs were super friendly. Room was clean and well maintained. Although the space is limited but was sufficient. The breakfast was ok, not crazy a lot items but good quality.

Perfect Osaka hotel

Really comfortable and well located! We were on our honeymoon, and they gave us additional drink tickets to celebrate. If you’re going to the World Expo, the location is great — it’s in a chiller part of Osaka and not far from the expo site. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were great! Highly recommend staying here.

Other than the fact that this place is so brilliantly decorated, the staff at the Moxy treated us so well. Mai and Antonio have to get a mention as well as Chef Sergio for hooking me up with a late night off menu grilled cheese. And there is free Pong and a very cool old school Super Mario Pinball machine. Amenities are great and access to Umeda is walkable and the food options around Fukushima are insane. Get coffee at the wEstern cafe near the 7-11. You won't regret it.

We were part of a group tour and spent one night there. We stayed an extra night as it said it could accommodate 3 people. We paid an extra person fee when we booked. When we went to check out of the first room, We were told we needed to pay 3000 yen to hold out luggage, which I thought was weird since we were already guests and we spoke with the front desk the night before. When we came back to re-check in, we were told we had an additional fee of 4800 yen to pay for the additional person. I explained no one mentioned that beforehand and we already paid a fee online. Staff told me it was a labor fee because they needed to bring an additional bed up to the room. I explained I have never heard of a labor fee and it was not listed anywhere. The staff agreed that it was not listed anywhere online and they should update it. I explained since it was not listed anywhere, we shouldn’t have to pay. She got a manager who also admitted this fee was not documented anywhere online and “it may make you confused”. I explained I was not confused as the information was nonexistent. He agreed and still expected me to pay. I explained I would be telling the tour company not to recommend them for additional stays as this problem took about 25 minutes and was a lot of back and forth. The manager then stated “can I please offer you a discount?”. I explained I would pay whatever at this point as I just wanted to get into our room. He discounted the fee but I still don’t understand why we paid.
