Love the hotel so much I will stay again. Location links you almost everywhere. Dotonburi, food and train station. Brilliant facilities such as washing machine, Yamato luggage transfer and breakfast. Only qualm is a taxi is unable to stop directly outside the hotel so if you have huge luggages that will be an issue. About 5 minutes walk from a drop off point. 10 minutes walk from train station.

Centrally located on a busy shopping/tourist street but surprisingly quiet. Loved the hotel and great for families. Staff was okay but some of them could have been more pleasant. We would stay here again.

Location was good, right in the heart of Namba and there's a Lawson right downstairs. Hotel comes with a lounge with free flow drinks and snacks for all hotel guests, there's also a laundry room with washers and dryers, as well as a vacuum pack machine so ensure that you shop to your heart's content. The only drawback is it does not come with a driveway so if you arranged for transport, you have to walk out to the main road.

Go-to hotel in Osaka

This is my favorite hotel in Osaka. Ever since we’ve stayed here in 2023, I always book this place whenever we visit Osaka. Location is perfect - near various train stations, 5-min walk to Dotonbori and Kuromon market. There’s also a small Don Quijote branch near the area (around 3-min walk) which closes at 3am and some drugstores. Beside the hotel is Lawson and next block is Family Mart. This hotel is highly recommended to those traveling with kids and elders.

Great location, I could walk to almost everything that I wanted to do. The laundry room is great. The lounge was great for drinks and a snack. My room and the carpets in the hotel could be cleaner. I noticed the next day that another guests hairs and a stain were on the sheets of my bed. There were also multiple hairs in the bathroom from someone else. I saw maids in the hallway and asked for water for the room but it never came and the room was not serviced. I think this is the only hotel that I’ve stayed in that does not have a bell service to store luggage.

While property is centrally located within Namba, the actual condition of the rooms are not representative of what’s advertised. Rooms are in dire need of updating with filthy carpet and old beddings.

Great location-super central to many spots such as Dontobori. Some hotel rooms may be a bit dated but the amenities are fantastic. The breakfast buffet was delicious and their laundry and lounge services were excellent. We had a great stay.

The property's location is perfect, with stores and restaurants just steps away. Additionally, a guest lounge provides complimentary light snacks and beverages daily. They also have very good selection of food during breakfast, and the staff are super nice. Only area for improvement is the rooms seem to be dated and deserves some enhancements for a much more pleasant experience.

Staff : 3/10 Room condition : 1/10 Hotel location : 10/10 I chose Namba Oriental Hotel because I heard it had been recently renovated, but I was very disappointed with my stay. While the location is excellent — right in the center of Namba with easy access to food, shopping, and train stations — the room itself told a different story. The condition of the room was poor. The floor had visible stains and what looked like dried food or porridge that hadn’t been cleaned. There was also noticeable dust around the room, showing that housekeeping didn’t do a thorough job. It didn’t feel like the room had been properly cleaned before we arrived. To make things worse, the staff were rude and not helpful when we brought up our concerns. For a hotel in such a prime location, I expected much better service and cleanliness. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves both room upkeep and staff attitude
