Great location but small rooms and hard pillows

The hotel has a wonderful location. Super close to Senso-ji temple, wonderful markets, Don Quixote and others rooms are very small and for westerners the pillows are extremely hard . Rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable.

Smile Hotel Shinosaka is one of the best hotel I ever stay in Osaka. It is sparkling clean, even dustless in some hidden corners. It is very impressive. Within minutes walk to Subway and Shin-Osaka station is perfect for tourists. Mattress and pillow are also comfy to me. However, WiFi speed is a bit slow which is the only down point. Enjoy the stay and I will come again.

Great budget hotel for travelers who don't want to break the bank for a stay in Osaka. The rooms are clean and good for the price you're paying. Staff speak English and are very friendly and accommodating. There's a breakfast buffet (that I believe you have to pay for) and laundry rooms. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants/cafes nearby, and the hotel is within a 10-minute walk from several subway and bus stations. Excellent budget hotel

Love the convenience of the short walk to the Shinkansen since this was a two-day trip to Osaka/Kyoto. Friendly English-speaking staff and the room was clean and big enough for two travelers with one suitcase each!

The hotel is within walking distance of shin-osaka station. When checking in staff were friendly and accommodating to the fact that we did not speak Japanese. The room has under bed storage which helped with keeping our luggage out of the way. The only thing that I did not like was that there is a step down to get into the washroom, I believe it is to help prevent flooding if the shower/bathtub overflow but I forgot about it a couple times and almost tripped.

The room has more space than the one I stayed in Tokyo even with better price than the one in Tokyo. The only thing I don't like is no coffee supply.
