My room was super dirty with mold in the toilet and shower area. There was odd smelling like poop. I have asked to exchange any room. The front desk staff can only arrange the room next to the laundry room which is very noisy, so i refused. Then they can't arrange another room for me. I need to stay there for 4 nights, then I was sick for two weeks after stayed there for 4 days. Please stay away from this hotel unless you don't care to stay in a dirty or sick places.

Our stay at Dotonbori Hotel was excellent! The front staff were friendly and helpful with explaining the amenities they provided and with the check it process as well! The rooms fit our needs as we wanted to be close to Dotonbori where all the shops and food stands are. Overall, great hotel and I would recommend!

Very small bathroom like a portable box in the middle of the room, but managed. Staff were a little slow at reception but responsive. Excellent location and amenities. Good size beds. If grabbing public transport from Kansai airport, the limousine bus stop OCAT is closer than the Namba station option if you have heavy luggage. Catch a taxi at ~800 yen to the hotel from there.

It's our 2nd time to stay in Dotonbori Hotel. What we love about this place is how near it is to Osaka City Airport Terminal/ JR Namba station. You can take the limousine bus from KIX and just take a 5-10min walk to the hotel. Very near Shinsaibashi Suji and Dotonbori restaurants. Very close to convenient stores. They have English speaking staff at the lobby for ease of communication. They lend you a free pocket wifi. Love the freebies at the lobby (coffee, soda, sake, noodles, ice cream). You just have to take note of the time when you could avail them. We come home to a clean hotel room after a very tiring day.

Very nice hotel. The only gripe I have is my specific room was at the end and had a massive pillar that took up a ton of space. VERY close to dotonbori and convenient. Loved my stay in Osaka with the hotel being so close

This hotel is extremely small old and even has an old/odd smell staff is nice they really try to make up for the age of the hotel but literally the only cool thing about the hotel is the statues in front the room are just too old and smelly to stay in do your self a favor and stay and a better place a couple of miles away

Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make things easier for us. Massage chairs were great after long walks. So close to dotonburi that it was a pleasant and short couple minutes walk.

Staff was very courteous. Lots of bonus amenities like free ice cream, coffee, hot and cold tea, and get this... free asahi dry draft beer. Keep in mind most of these are during limited hours. Theres 2 massage chairs too.

The hotel is very conveniently located to Dotonbori River and all the activities surrounding it. Great restaurants and shopping venues. The staff at the hotel were great, friendly and accommodating. My only issue was the size of the room which was very small but is pretty much like that throughout Japan. Overall I have nothing but high regards for the staff and hotel and highly recommended this property.
