The hotel had self check-in that is impersonal and spits out your room card with little information. Room is clean but very small. At 10:30 am, I received a call from the front desk staff demanding that I come down and pay immediately 1000 yen for overstaying. I told him it was a mistake as I thought check-out was at 11. He yelled and said it was their policy and demanded I pay the yen before leaving. Even though it was my mistake, he could have been professional and kinder. Absolute worst experience I’ve had while in Japan!

Room was big and was properly maintained. Location was walking distance from Dotonbori and train station. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast included during your stay. Hotel is perfect if you are looking for a clean and convenient room without breaking the bank.

Very handy to B6 exit from the Namba Station, enjoyed the fresh breakfast each morning and the variety. We were able to leave our luggage before check in. Die Gute bakery near B8 had lovely cheesecake and fresh rolls. Hotel is only short walk to Dotonbori. Central Square Life Supermarket was really good down B4 walk to B1 shop on the left, was good for fresh meals to heat up at the hotel. Gentleman working at breakfast gave us lots of suggestions for shopping & eating places, very friendly and helpful. Room was a reasonable size but the bed and pillows are hard.

Clean hotel
A nice hotel though the 4pm strict check in was too strict. Everyone uses the lift at 4pm and is just terrible customer service if the rooms can be ready before.

Outstanding! Conveniently located, fantastic breakfast and amazing staff. Cannot recommend highly enough. Only improvement area I can think of - mattresses were really, really hard. Even compared to other Japanese style beds, these seemed a bit hard. Again, highly recommend!

1. Excellent location. Namba and Dotonbori are very close, just minutes on foot. 2. The single room is tiny. Keep that in mind. 3. The locker is a great feature. 4. They keep everything very clean. 5. The staff are very good. 6. They don't have daily housekeeping.

Great location near all the street food and excitement of Dotonbori. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Hotel is like a fancy college dorm. It has very bright lighting and is the least romantic place we've every stayed. If you are looking for convenience and completeness this is your place. It has no charm and the bathroom is really small but functional.
