Doing a quick visit to Osaka, location is near shin osaka so i didnt have to walk far. Location is near multiple stations, was able to go into Osaka, Kyoto and Universal Studios easily.

Everything you need + something extra

The tiny room is equipped with all the essentials for overnight lodging, and the WiFi works fine. Here's the bonus: an ofuro (large bath tub) open to all guests, an amenity one usually finds only in resort-type properties. (Separate men's and women's facilities, of course.) The hotel is not far from Shin-Osaka, but it's not so easy to find the first time. Check a map, note the locations of some larger hotels, and let their signs guide you to the neighborhood.

Nice and clean AND free laundry powder

Clean, nice and new. Typically smallish double room. Not the closest hotel to the Shin Osaka station, but within reasonable walking distance. Plenty of convenience stores nearby but not much around by way of shopping. Washing machines were 300 yen, with free detergent thrown in.

Nice hotel, English speaking, excellent breakfast

Very nice hotel, friendly and English speaking staff. The breakfast was also excellent and highly recommended (including for vegetarians). For Westerners reluctant to eat noodles at breakfast, give it a try; Y's are excellent. Very close (5 mins) to Shin-Osaka Station, however most of Osaka city is centred around Osaka Station, which is a 10-15 min tube journey away. Overall, impressive hotel and highly recommended.
