Nice place in Oslo Center
We had a fantastic stay in Oslo, and I can't recommend this apartment enough! The location is absolutely perfect—close to everything you need, and within walking distance from Oslo S (Oslo Central Station). Getting to the apartment from the airport was a breeze. Just download the Ruter app, take a 20-minute ride from the airport to Oslo S (approx. £24.00 for a family of four), and you’re practically there. The apartment itself was wonderful—well-decorated, very cozy, and spotlessly clean. It comfortably accommodated our family of four (2 adults and 2 children), with a great shower and plenty of space. The check-in process was incredibly easy, and the team was always supportive and quick to respond to any queries we had. Overall, the price was excellent for what was offered. If you're looking for a place to stay in Oslo, don’t waste your time searching for hotels or other accommodations. This apartment is a gem, and we’re so glad we chose it. I wish I had received this kind of honest advice before—would have made the decision much easier! Thanks to Bob and the team for making our stay so enjoyable!

Husband cut his leg on the broken bed frame of the pull out couch. Property denied knowing of the issue even though their tape had been used to fixed other broken parts of the bed. We asked for compensation but they felt a beer and letting us know where the first aid kit was enough. Wife had a lengthy conversation with the manager and felt guilted into a minor amount of compensation, one she continuously said we were lucky to get. Husband called back and the manager completely changed her tone saying that the cut wasn’t even that bad and we were making this into a big deal. Worst part was, the height that the broken frame was at was eye level to our 10 month old son who had been crawling around and pulling himself up on the bed frame. Manager was unsympathetic to the potential and danger this posed to both our children. We also found magnets on the ground which are also extremely dangerous safety hazards to our children. Not impressed with this facilities way of handling dangerous situations for their guests and families. We will never be staying at a Bob W. facility ever again.

Tiny rooms, oddly with photos of former guests posted. Why? No staff whatsoever. if your phone is out of charge you can't access front door or room. Frustrating as I was locked out of my room at 8 am my last day, not 11 at check out. Really, a marginal choice that I cannot recommend.

Very small. No maid service. But can get fresh towels. Only one tiny garbage can with a lid. No kleenex box. Weird window that opens to an alleyway with no screen. Very hot rooms with no a/c just two table fans. Very good service and easy way to enter. Service was great excellent and all my questions were answered kindly and friendly.

Good location but not great hotel experience
Starting with the positives, the location is good and the room a good size. Comfortable bed. We got lots of nice whatsapp messages from Bob W (who turned out to be elsewhere in the world). Unfortunately lots of downsides though. Unfortunately too many downsides, for what aren't bargain basement prices. The TV isn't great. Have a top end android phone and it can't connect to it. The signal for the local channels isn't good enough to watch. So we couldn't use that. Then there is the cleaning. If you stay for one night, your room gets cleaned before arrival. If you stay four nights, there is no rate reduction but the room isn't cleaned again unless you pay a surcharge. The breakfast deal is really annoying. We thought it might be a good thing but it doesn't actually pay for breakfast. Just a percentage of it and if you spend less than that 'voucher' amount you are robbed. Ties you in to two cafes. One only opens at 10am and not on a Sunday, so that means one place really, that is only very average. Definitely don't do their breakfast 'deal'. The front door keypad is a bit inconsistent. On occasion has taken us three attempts to get in and we have had to rescue others stuck outside. The room window (ground floor) looks out onto an alley which is pretty unpleasant. It's misted glass but we can see the bins out there and there are bottles getting tipped into overnight (very disturbing). There is no air conditioning and the room was too hot. Perfect location and good stay experience
BOB-W has amazing location in Oslo - right next to the happening street of Karl Johans gate. Everything is at walking distance from this place. The room was clean and the beds were made for 4 people as mentioned in our booking. It was very thoughtful to keep a few chocolates and also coffee for the guests. One minor issue was that the bathroom door wouldn't lock. The shower area was perfect and the toiletries kept were of high quality. The check-in experience was seamless. Only one downside is that there is no parking, and the parking costs a lot in this area (We found one open air parking about 400-500 m from the hotel for 200 kroner per night)
