Decent sized room considering that it was a "small double". Check in was stressful because I couldn't initially find the hotel's reservation number (not Expedia's confirmation number) and then even though I had prepaid, the self check in machine said I owed money. Apparently that's a glitch and it got resolved by checking in with the person at the bar (which is also the reception) but still stressful. Shower water pressure was good but the door has a huge gap so water floods all over in the bathroom. Area was really convenient to train station, opera house, and lots of restaurants. Overall, would stay again (but maybe ask for more towels for the bathroom!).

Good hotel, be aware of similar names

The hotel was well situated to the train station, public transportation hubs, and to shopping. The only issue we had was there are multiple Comfort Hotels in the area and the address Hotels.com gave us for Xpress was to a different Comfort Hotel, luckily within walking distance. The check-in agent at the incorrect hotel had apparently dealt with this mistake a number of times and quickly directed us up the street to the correct property.

A short walk to central station, where the airport express train is located. Near tourist attractions, shopping area and dining options. The room was spacious and comfortable, although the bathroom could use a towel bar for us to hand towels.

Good value for money.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. No sit down breakfast but reception sells drinks and breakfast bags - we got breakfast nearby - lots of options.

So the rooms are smaller than my expectations, but I guess normal sized for any big city hotels. But Amina - a staff/ receptionist was excptional- she went above and beyond to make us comfortable, also helped us with area information, amenities,and restaurants recommendations. The loby was cozy and open 24 hrs.Hotel is walking distance from Oslo Central Station which was the best part.

Pity there are no tea and coffee facilities in the room; otherwise it is a good place to stay as a transit hotel. Would not stay here if spending longer than one night as there are no facilities for dining in for breakfast or dinner.

Hotel is located just next to the train station, walkable distance to Supermarkets, and transports. Oppera house just a few minutes walking. Rooms are clean, and have space for our luggage. Comfortable beds.
