Our room was so comfortable and spacious, not to mention so clean. The hotel offered a wonderful breakfast buffet, and the restaurant was available for lunch and dinner, as well. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We could easily walk to the hotel from the train station (from the airport), and we could walk to so many places as it was conveniently located. We were so happy with this choice of hotel and highly recommend.

Very beautiful hotel with great staff and amenities! The “small” double bed rooms are economical, but VERY small (although the bathroom and shower were relatively spacious by European standards). Located a little bit off the busy/noisy tourist paths, yet conveniently close to the train station and attractions.

Central location close to waterfront

Central location with 10 minute walk to the waterfront offering restaurants, museums, ferries and trams. T-Bane Metro stop just minutes away. This is a charming hotel with an included excellent breakfast buffet. Large room windows provided lots of light and fresh air. We would stay here again.

The breakfast buffet was my favorite part of the state, with many hot dishes and cold cuts available every morning, as well as two kinds of fish: smoked and cured. The hotel rooms are not air conditioned so I don’t know if I recommend it for the hot or even warm months of the year as I prefer to keep the windows closed when I sleep and it did get stuffy in the room towards the morning in mid-April. I strongly recommend this hotel as an option for all mild weather travelers!

The hotel is ideally situated to visit Oslo’s main attractions. The only thing I can think of is k no or to visit Oslo on Bank Holidays because everything is shut including the hotel’s restaurant.
