So the location is right in the middle of everything on Karl Johan’s gate and walkable to just about anywhere you need to go except the sculpture garden. Very close to train and tram. The breakfast is excellent. Room is very small - more like that of a large closet and the seagulls are loud at night. All in all, a nice stay. Oslo isn’t cheap but this place is decent value vs the rest of the places.

We loved this hotel. The only reason we did not give it five stars is because there wasn’t really anywhere to hang clothes and there is no room service. We didn’t need either of these but some people do. The breakfast is excellent, the room was very clean with a great ambience. We would stay here again.

Our room was in the “quiet” part of the hotel according to the front desk, which turned out to be in and odd addition with windows facing the adjacent building and no natural light or views. Thr room was fine and the breakfast and hotel location are very good. We were just not happy with the room location and inability to change rooms due to full capacity.

The room location was really weird. We are given a room in another building attached to the main hotel. We didn’t have a direct access to our floor. We had to take an elevator, walk half a mile with our luggage to find another elevator to get to our room. There were no phones in our rooms. Everytime we had a question or book a taxi, we had to hike back & forth to the reception. When I addressed this issue, the guy at the reception told me - this is above my pay grade to solve this problem🙄
