Great location however the hotel was not worth the price. Didn't even have a proper mattress just a thin mattress topper. Was not comfortable at all. No drinks in the mini bar fridge, not even water. Had to carry 2x 30kg suitcases up stairs as lift didn't go all the way to our room. Not worth the price in my opinion
The property was excellent, clean, great location and they offered healthy breakfast with good gluten free options. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful; however, we had an unpleasant experience with Anita at the front desk. She was rude and very reluctant to help, short tempered and when we ordered breakfast to go for the last day, the request was for three people and two had to be gluten free. When we got downstairs on 11/30/2024 at 7 am all breakfasts had gluten. The front desk man was so sorry for us that he run to the kitchen and got us some gluten free goodies. I would definitely recommend this hotel, however there are three people who work the front desk that probably need more training. Everything else was very good.

Disappointed that the advertised Rituals amenities were no longer available since they changed to a Swiss organic brand that smelled like Pine. Who wants to walk around and smell like a Pine tree? No one.
Also we were told that the supposed “heated” floors were at a set temp. However, we never felt any warmth from the bathroom floor. So I highly doubt those are heated floors and thus it’s false advertisement.
Everything else was fine. They have an excellent breakfast spread. Location was extremely convenient.
Hotel is conveniently located to transportation and shopping. Room was nice but extremely small!!! Several days before I arrived. I informed the hotel that I was traveling for my birthday celebration. They helped me celebrate by giving me the worse room in the hotel. Had to take the main elevator to second floor. Then walk to the back of the hotel through the breakfast dining room to a hidden elevator at the back of the hotel. Then take that elevator up one floor to get to my room. Which had a view of the breakfast dining room skylight. Nice hotel but don’t expect any extras. They didn’t even clean our room. I think it was so hidden they forgot about it. I should have stayed at The Grand Hotel. Which is directly next door.
It was easy to get to everything we needed and Vinterland was right outside in the park — dozens of shops with waffles, crepes, gyros, a Ferris wheel, more rides and ice skating. Plus the staff were always helpful, even at 4:30am.
What a great property directly in front of the Christmas markets! Andres and the staff were super helpful and the breakfast is impeccable!! Would highly recommend to stay here. I would not recommend having a car as Oslo is a walkable city and not designed for cars. Train from the airport is the cheapest and most convenient recommendation. Only a 10-min walk to the hotel.
