Good but sauna not included!

Tiny bathroom but stocked with nice products. Bed was comfortable. Only nosiy one night. But they charge 450 NOK (€40) for the spa per hour. I thought it was too expensive. A pity because i had chosen the hotel for ths sauna.

Our overall satisfaction with this hotel is unremarkable, but the dirty and stained carpeting throughout gave this hotel the feel of poverty. Also the bathroom was inadequate--shower water ran all over the floor with the drain between sink and toilet. Double bed sagged. Great service from the front desk--friendly, spoke excellent English, eager to give helpful suggestions. Pretty good breakfast buffet. 10-15 minutes walk to harbor.

Fin beliggenhed nær Aker Brygge og god morgenmad

Rigtig fint ophold med super lækker morgenmad. Der er meget lydt mellem værelserne og ud mod gangen. Familieværelset fungerer godt da der er dør imellem de to rum og badeværelse til begge værelser

+ Wonderful staff + All the toiletries you’ll need (including toothbrush) + Clean and cozy hotel all in all. + Great location, walking distance from nationaltheatret (train, tram and buses). There is also a bus that stops right outside the hotel (no. 21). - No tv (we got moved to a room with a working tv on day three, but there was no information about this until I asked the receptionist). - Thin walls, we could hear everything our neighbors did.. - Got woken up at 08:40am on the last day from drilling!!! I was supposed to sleep in til 10 as checkout was at 11:00, but I gathered all my stuff and got out of there as soon as I could because the walls was shaking and it was unbearable. All in all it was a wonderful stay and the staff was so kind and helpful, but they only get three stars because of the lack of information and the disrespect of doing construction work so early, it is extra bad since they didn’t inform me of the tv or drilling. And maybe they should offer chrome casts/appleTVs as they don’t have smart-tvs in the rooms with working tvs (only 2 channels, one Norwegian and one Swedish).

Hyggeligt lille hotel.

Rigtig hyggeligt lille hotel der ligger i perfekt gåafstand til alle seværdigheder. Der ligger desuden masser restauranter, cafeer og take away steder lige rundt om hjørnet. Hotellet er komfortabelt, sengen god og så er der de lækreste spa produkter på badeværelset.

Mycket besviken

Urusla parkeringsmöjligheter i anslutning till hotellet, tog ca en halvtimme att hitta parkering och den kostade 45 NOK/timmer. Rummet var skitit, fläckar på lakan, mycket sliten miljö i rummet och det var säkert inte renoverat sedan 60-talet, mycket nedgånget. Sömnen stördes hela natten av gap och skrik i korridoren. Kan inte i något hänseende rekomendera detta hotell.

noch in Ordnung

Sehr positiv ist die gute Lage des Hotels für eine Stadtbesichtigung zu Fuss. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist in Ordnung. Leider lässt aber die Sauberkeit des Zimmers zu wünschen übrig und die Einrichtung hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Für den Preis (für Oslo) noch in Ordnung

Hot town summer in the city of Oslo

Det var rundt 28 grader i IOslo de dagene jeg bodde på Carlton og det sier seg selv at det blir en varm opplevelse når det er Norwegian Air Conditioning - lukk opp vinduet på vid gap! Hotel er av eldre model, men har sin charm for det. Betjeningen var hyggelig og hjelpsom, sengen bra og do/dusj liten, men OK. I forhold til pris og beliggenhet et godt tilbud, men ingen luksus.
