Bel hôtel en centre ville

Nous avons séjourné en famille dans cet hôtel car il fait partie de la chaîne Scandic que nous apprécions. Proximité du centre ville, de deux grandes gares, de la mairie et du Port en font une localisation privilégiée. Propreté, accueil, qualité des accessoires confort des couchages et petit déjeuner monumental sont d'autres points forts de cet hôtel. Les deux seuls bémols que je peux relever sont l'absence d'un radiateur d'appoint, la ventilation tourne constamment autour de 20 degrés Celsius, le deuxième point est l'absence d'application sur le téléviseur et l'impossibilité de connecter son téléphone via le Cast, nous avions tout de même occupé nos enfants en bas âge avec des dessins animés en norvégiens, mis à part ça tout le reste était top.

This hotel is best avoided if you are planning to park a car bigger than a Mini as the access to the underground garage is exceptionally narrow, causing loads of damages based on the marks on the walls. More importantly, the noise from the nightclub across the street kept us all awake until way past 2am. It was beyond dreadful. When we mentioned it to the reception staff upon check-out the female staff member was very rude and told us, laughingly, this is what it's like in all cities - it is not. Will not come again.

Stellar location for trains, museums, nightlife

An easy walk from National Theater station which has express and regular trains to the airport; a couple of blocks (probably the closest hotel) the summer ferry to 'museum' (Bygdoy) island, where you'll want to spend all day for the array of world-class museums. A block or so from Town Hall -Nobel and National museums; the Theater and Parliament in the other direction; just a block off the main drag with all the good tram and bus lines. ,,,So, possibly the best-located hotel in the city, yet nestled in a quiet corner. The breakfast buffet is also amazing, in a beautiful atrium; the staff is friendly & knowledgeable, and the room is clean with everything one needs. Comfy bed, good lighting, spacious bathroom. A perfect stay.

Nice location

The hotel's location was excellent, and the breakfast was a worthwhile expense. The staff were both helpful and professional. While there was a minor issue with the air conditioning and a lack of a readily available phone to contact reception, I was overall very satisfied and would gladly book a room again.

Great hotel in Oslo

Very good location in Oslo, only a 10 minute walk from the station. Check in was quick and efficient and check out was the same. They have a luggage room which is very convenient. The bed was very comfortable and the whole bedroom was clean and toiletries were provided. The room was super quiet and we never heard any other guests. Breakfast was good, loads of options and the restaurant was nicely decorated, very modern and trendy. Our only complaint is that although it was a smart tv you couldn’t get Netflix etc.

Just OK

The hotel was ok. Excellent location, spacious room, clean, great breakfast. The reception staff were friendly. It's lacking an atmosphere, there was no bar that you could enjoy a drink before going back to the room or on the way out. A receptionist sells you a glass of wine and you can sit in the reception area or take a drink to your room. Our room was extremely hot, pre set aircon, couldn't change the temperature. +24 was far too hot, we couldn't sleep. We kept the window opened but the loud music at 2am kept us awake. Bed was very uncomfortable, really bad for your back. Breakfast was really nice but there was only one coffee machine for a very large breakfast room that was absolutely packed. Waiting in a 10-15 people queue for a coffee wasn't fun. And then you get half a cup because it run out of coffee! So, mixed reviews. We really enjoyed Oslo but wouldn't stay at this hotel again if we would come back.
