It's a quirky place. I wound up in three different rooms, all strange shapes. Only one had a bedside table. Breakfast buffet was extensive. Maybe covers for the hot options to keep them warm? Staff were wonderful There is a weird system for getting hot water for your shower - I struggled.

I have stayed here several times as I feel Thin hotels offer good value for money and the Astoria is located close to the station so no lugging suitcases a great distance. My own minor criticism is the bathrooms in all rooms that I have stayed in are very small - I could sit on the toilet, wash my hands in the sink and shower my feet at the same time it is so compact (in standard single rooms). That said, everything is clean and I’m only there to sleep and shower so it’s not a huge deal if you know to expect it. If you are larger than average build though you may struggle.

Very small room
The rooms are quite small. I reserved a queen bed and it was not a queen bed. The bathroom is very small. The breakfast is good and the staff is nice. I think if I were by myself it would have been ok.
