The location was convenient and the customer service was excellent. However, the neighborhood was noisy, and all the construction around it made it look trashy. And quite frankly, the whole neighborhood was not inviting at all.

Ordered breakfast to go for the next day as we had an early flight. But when we went to check out, the attendant would not give us the ones they had prepared as he said they were for someone else. He did not offer any solution. Nor did he apologuze (the kitchen was open he could have done something as it was clear on our file we had ordered).

The staff were very nice and helpful! Breakfast was amazing - so many incredible options! The bed was awful! They said it was a queen but it seemed like a full size (which might just be a cultural difference). Since we were already on a top floor with a sloped ceiling, the small bed and very warm room, made us quite claustrophobic. I barely slept all night! I called the front desk in the morning to see if we could upgrade for a larger room/bed but they were fully booked. Because we were so tired and frustrated, we ended up switching hotels and got a great place with a king size bed (and had a wonderful nights sleep! Although we lost our room payment AND prepaid breakfast!) The area around this hotel is also a bit sketchy - although the location is convenient to Central Station. If I could get another room with a different bed or layout, I would consider staying again just because the staff and breakfast was worthwhile. But, sleep is pretty important when you want to enjoy vacation!

This is a very cute hotel and we had several nice stays within the Thon chain. Clean, friendly staff, and a wonderful breakfast! However, this particular hotel is directly adjacent to a heavy metal bar, and the music runs late into the evening. If you like to party or enjoy metal coming into your open windows, this is the place for you!!

Our return visit - for one night only - was enjoyable and we received a warm welcome. Travelers, take note: when we couldn’t stay for breakfast during our first stay, the staff offered us a package filled with substantial and healthy items to take with us on the train. That made all the difference!

This hotel is a real keeper for any traveler coming to Oslo! Guest room was well appointed, the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, with items for everyone. Location is practical, being near the Central Train Station, and also near enough to tourist venues for walking. Overall, this hotel is a great choice!

central location, 5 mnt walk to train station so easy to go from and to airport, close to a lot of bar and resto staff is very friendly and helpful (Suzij) the only downside from this hotel is the bed, They only use (at least in my room at that time) base, no mattress, then covered with topper make it so uncomfortable to sleep on and give low back pain the next morning.

Very nice place to stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, as we had shown up early and before we could even put our bags in the luggage room they gave us a room before check in time. Best breakfast options I have seen at any breakfast buffet.
