Property was beautifully maintained, however, they warn of noise but place my room on the side of the hotel with full on construction drilling happening at 7am. Not sure they were sold out but if construction is going on immediately next door I would find another hotel if you plan to sleep past 7am

Beautiful hotel. Exceptional staff. Thoughtful touches. Windows need to be upgraded to improve soundproofing. Regular downtown traffic noise was incredibly loud. I can’t imagine how loud it is once construction starts outside.

We love the Andaz.

The Andaz Byward Market continues to impress as a top-notch hotel. The front desk team is exceptionally warm and accommodating. However, during this visit, we experienced quite a bit of noise from the construction happening next door, which is understandably beyond the hotel's control. Additionally, we noticed that the bed pillows were unusually flat and lacked support, which we hadn’t encountered in our previous stays—this is a minor issue that could be easily addressed. On the bright side, the hotel's location is fantastic, making it easy to explore a variety of restaurants and shops nearby. Plus, the rooftop bar offers a lovely atmosphere to unwind.
