Nice hotel - housekeeping should be thorough.
Overall, it was a nice stay. My room didn’t have some items - Kleenex, enough towels and the complimentary beverages were OPEN in the fridge. I’m talking pop cans that were open.

So close to amazing just needs new pillows
The hotel was great, clean, upscale, staff was super friendly and helpful. I loved the location and all of the assistance. The bed was not the most comfortable and the pillows were horrible. If I ever stay here again and I do plan to I would bring my own pillows. If it wasn’t for the bed and pillow situation would have been 5 stars

I’ve stayed at the Andaz many times when visiting Ottawa, each stay equally wonderful. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are stocked with premium full sized toiletries. Both the restaurant and bar are terrific and must-do stops on any trip to Ottawa, whether staying as a guest at Andaz or not.

Great stay and friendly staff who were able to accommodate early check in. Booked a view king room but was sad not to be on the side of the building with a nicer view (towards parliament). However the room was great and very clean. Construction was going on at the building right beside the hotel but didn’t affect our stay. Thanks

Good: Rooms are generally nice, clean and fairly spacious. The front desk is pleasant and attentive. The lounge bar, while nice, was lacking in terms of customer service, with an odd policy requiring parties of 6 or more to pay with only one card. Our waitress didn’t seem pleased when we challenged this, but admittedly accommodated us after some negotiation. Bad: Unsurprisingly, the construction next door is incredibly disruptive. It starts at 0700 hrs on the dot and doesn’t finish until about 1700 hrs. They are currently jack hammering right under the hotel with big machinery and it’s loud and resonates throughout the whole hotel. And! They are blasting with dynamite, so be prepared for that! It’s not the hotel’s fault, but it’s such a problem that I feel their management needs to 1) ensure guests are aware of this prior to booking (it was not) and 2) start rolling out incentives like free nights. My three nights cost over $1400. Yowsers. Good luck!
