ByWard Blue Inn is the perfect location. We parked our car and enjoyed walking around Ottawa. Also this hotel has the best breakfast; scrambled eggs, breakfast sandwiches, bacon or sausage or back bacon, hash browns, fresh fruit, 3 cereals, yogurt, muffins. We would recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was amazing. We were on the main floor and had an adorable patio out of our room. The bed was a little too soft for my personal liking but the staff was kind and let us leave our luggage with them before check in and after. I would stay here anytime I visit Ottawa.

It is a lovely small hotel with everything you need. Includes a hot breakfast, kitchenette in your room and outdoor balcony. Walking distance to everything. Just loved it and definitely will be back

Its location is wonderfully central. Close to many places of interest. I loved the room with a balcony overlooking the interior courtyard of the block. Kitchenette, though small, made my stay very convenient.

We stayed at ByWard Blue Inn for one night and had a wonderful experience. We booked a cozy queen room with a window view for two people. The room was spotless upon arrival and felt very comfortable for a quick stay. Breakfast was included and exceeded expectations — the croissants were fresh and delicious, and the yogurt selection was a nice touch. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The location is absolutely ideal — everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, including Parliament Hill, the Rideau Centre mall, ByWard Market, and other downtown highlights. We had no issues at all during our stay. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for something affordable and comfortable, especially if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city and just need a clean, pleasant place to sleep.
