Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. I will say the walls are thin. Lots of party with Christmas parties. Nothing wrong with that but you could hear a lot of noise while trying to sleep

The hotel is very well configured. The Elf room is a great pub, although we waited 2 hours to get 3/4 through of the line. We had to leave to make our dinner reservation. I would highly recommend a 45min time per table: enough to have a drink or 2 and give others a chance to have the experience. We were disappointed with the lack of menu options. We had a vegan guest with us with zero vegan options on the menu, really? We were a party of 5 and left the hotel to eat. The Christmas decorations and staff made the trip worthwhile. Otherwise, the rooms are small and the bathrooms are in need of major renovations. If it weren’t for the lovely Christmas spirit this hotel offers, I would not choose to stay here. My genuine rating is a 2.5/5, bellow average.

I was woken up several times by wind hitting our door. It was very loud and sounded like our door was going to break. At 4 am I put a towel under the door to stop the wind hitting the door and it helped a little bit. I told the staff at check out and they apologized but thats it I was not thrilled to not sleep properly because of a door making horrible sounds on vacation..especially at 4 star hotel.
