Overall the property in itself was nice and comfortable. The signal near the property felt unsafe to go out with family on a walk towards the market

Located in a very unpleasant and unsafe area. Insufficient amount of parking spaces. We arrived quite esrly and the parking was already sold out. Had to park further away and walk quite a distance through very unpleasant and unsafe neighbourhood. Staff is unfriendly and the gurl st the front desk particulary rude. Swimming pool is a joke. It is very tiny, dirty with very few uncofortable chairs to sit. Will not recommend this hotel to snyone and will never ever dtdy here again.

I've seen a few people saying that there are homeless/substance dependent people wandering around the area near the hotel. Bear in mind that the hotel (which is wonderful in every other way), is next to a community hub and a halfway house. However, the people using the services seem entirely unthreatening and are only in the area to access the services and to feel safe. The only interaction we had near the hotel was with a particularly cheerful man who said what a lovely day it was and asked us if we were having a good time - he was doing the same for everyone he passed and it was genuine and friendly.

Hotel is near the homeless shelter. When we arrived we were advised that the parking was full and had to park off site for an additional $$. Parking was a 8min walk away.

So many homeless people in the area and there’s shelter across the street. I was told by front desk staff not going out at night. Photos online are misleading because the city view room I booked is facing a very busy traffic street and a condominium building. Expedia refused my request for refund after I expressed my safety concerns.
