Great hotel, full of history. The bar/restaurant attached is very affordable in a high quality. It’s within walking distance to Parliament Hill in the Supreme Court the Senate and so on. Right across the street from the warm memorial. It is an excellent location if you want to do all the touristy things. But also within walking distance of fine restaurants.

L'étanchéité de la porte de la chambre laissait à désirer car nous entendions tout ce qui se disait dans le corridor. Pour le reste du séjour, faut prévoir nos achats car la quasitotalité des commerces ferment à 9h.

Rooms need a refresh to reflect the high prices. Location is good for the NAC but there is much nicer for cheaper to be had downtown. 20 years ago just staying here was a big thing. But unfortunately we are 2025 and access to luxury is not the same as before. Ottawa is not that luxury as it once was.
