The room itself was good. Large. The old threadbare rugs in the rest of the hotel are your first clue that the hotel is in need of a major face lift.

Hotel is close to all major spots. Block away from major street with plenty of dining. Transportation is close by but it is a very walkable city. Will stay here again

The kitchenette we were in just had an older very noisy fridge that I had to unplug to get a decent sleep. Overall a nice place & great location to walk to all the sights, canal, dining, etc.

Nice apartment building converted into a hotel, right in the middle of everything, by the rideau canal. It allows you to walk to everything within 15 minutes: parliament buildings, the byward market, restaurants/bars and shopping. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff were cordial and helpful.
