This hotel needs some updating and maintenance.

Staff seemed friendly enough. Room was small but okay but, our bathroom was in need of some maintenance. The toilet didn’t flush, I called to the front desk but there was no answer so I fixed it (just the chain off the flapper) and then the next morning my husband said the toilet seat was broken. I had a peek at it and it had been given a bandaid fix so I just put the bandaid back together. Left as quickly as we could. We won’t be back 😔

Reserved two rooms while traveling from way out of town. When I arrived, the front desk clerk only gave me one key. When I asked about my second room, he was extremely rude and said “sorry, only one room - we’re booked”. I explained I’d reserved two rooms for four travelers, and showed him the reservation on my phone. He shrugged and said “Not my fault, nothing I can do”. I asked if the second room was under my friends name - Marc - to which he replied “no, I only have one other reservation for Farah”. I explained I couldn’t stay if there wasn’t enough room for the entire traveling group, to which he replied “not my problem, you’ll be charged either way. And there are no other hotels in the city, so…”. I insisted he triple check, and when he did, he showed me the reservation for “Farah” and it was in fact my reservation for myself/Marc. He replies “Oops. Problem solved!” and nonchalantly hands me the second key. Totally unprofessional and a huge waste of time at almost 1am when we’d been traveling all day.

This hotel has a motel vibe, with friendly and responsive staff. The property is right on the river, with relaxing chairs to sit at the waterfront. The pool was great to use during the summer, but bring your own pool towel as the ones provided are small. My only complaint would be the small beds and the need for the rooms to be updated. This property has high potential. Lastly the food at restaurant was good and they have a very nice outdoor patio.

Perhaps I did not read carefully, but I was not expecting motel-like accommodations with 2 story buildings and exterior doors on balconies. However, the rooms were more than adequate and the building was very quiet (considering I had a partial view of a busy road). It was located very close to where I needed to be in the city.

Was offered an upgrade as our room was not clean on arrival. Upgraded was much nicer than the original room so I would upgrade if you are able too. Property around the hotel is beautiful. Right on the water and view is gorgeous. Restaurant has a really nice outdoor patio. Continental breakfast is what you would expect and staff is very friendly and happy to help with anything you need.
