I was extremely disappointed in my stay, staff were un pleasant and just stare at you with lack of common courtesy .stayed a night and a half and thought breakfast vouchers were included in price but were not , elevator was down for one evening of stay so I had to walk up stairs with infant and luggage in hand. worst part is I that there is. Two elevators , one was operating upon arrival then eventually both were down and not even a sign posted saying to use stairs. Had over heard another guest arguing with a staff to but a sign up and let people know .

Wonderful place, really loved it.. Only one major inconvenience... The elevators situation... One is out of service and the second one was acting up. Difficult to understand how this could be possible.At the end of our stay it was still not resolved.. this older couple had to stop on 3rd floor on the way up to 6th... It's too bad as it is a very nice place... I've stayed at many Sandman unfortunately this will stay on my memory as the elevator fiasco.

The elevator is not working so we had to carry our 50 lbs luggage up five flights of stairs. We are not young and this was very difficult on our bodies and our luggage. This is unacceptable

Stay at this Sandman every time we are in Ottawa due to it’s convenient location. Not to the standard it was. Room had a really cramped bathroom. Had to remove toilet roll from holder to lift and lower the toilet seat!

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and our room was never made up once during our stay. We requested at the front desk daily that was missed but was ever done by housekeeping. A broken soap dish was in the bathroom which was reported at the front desk but no action. Overall the evening front desk personnel were helpful and sincerely felt bad but housekeeping neglected to fulfil their duties.
