The Business Inn was recommended to us by friends and we were not disappointed. We will stay again. But we did have trouble with the bedroom TV in room 1109, and maybe you should check it out

A great place to stay for a week long trip. On-site laundry helps! Walkable to ByWard market, parliament, and LOTS of great places to eat. Peter and all the staff were so kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Ottawa.

Good value for your dollar. Extra spacious and clean suites but are a bit outdated. For first timers, it's quite a maze on the third floor where we stayed. First assigned room have a Rogers TV Box not working. We got transferred to another room in the same floor after an hour of wait. Higher floors are for higher rates. Continental breakfast areas are busy in the morning but we were allowed to bring breakfast items to our suite. No time to use the other amenities. Parking is extra charge per night. Recommend to use the outdoor parking beside the hotel instead of their underground parking. $10 rebate if no housekeeping done.

I needed a last-minute stay in Ottawa on a busy weekend, and all the major hotels were charging over $300. I found Business Inn & Suites the day before and had never heard of it, but trusted the great reviews — and I’m glad I did. I booked through Expedia this time, but if their direct rates stay competitive, I’d definitely consider booking directly next time. They seem to have a great loyalty program that would be worth looking into. I paid $130 for a full one-bedroom suite with a kitchen, which was incredible value. They also had rooms with balconies for the same price, but I preferred being on a lower floor and appreciated the option. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable — ideal for business travelers, but perfect for anyone needing a quiet, practical stay. They offer free breakfast (though I didn’t try it, so I can’t comment on that), and the location felt safe and central. As a solo female traveling for an event, I felt very comfortable staying here on my own. The only con I found was that checkout is at 4pm, which felt unusually late, especially since check-in is at 11am — a small detail, but worth noting. Overall, this place is a real hidden gem. I almost don’t want to post a glowing review because I want it to stay a secret!
