A true gem of a stay in a true gem of a mountain town. Located next to a small running river that you can hear from the hot tub. Grounds are meticulously maintained with flowers everywhere. Room was clean, spacious and well-suited to our party of four. John, in the office, was inviting and super helpful. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The room was clean and the facility was nice. The room had all the amenities that we needed. The reason it’s not gettingfive stars is that our room was so small, my husband and I felt crowded. Estimated the queen bedroom at 160 ft.² or less.

Positives: being beside the river provided outstanding atmosphere. Amenities were abundant such as 2 hot tubs, fire pit, and no frills dog park behind the property. Check in was so easy, and wifi was great. Within a 2 block walk is the Ouray main street with so many shops and eating options, but if you're staying at River's Edge, you have to eat at the Mi Mexico Family Mexican restaunt next door. Negatives: Slight disrepair as reflected in the shower handle which was so loose it almost off and no towel racks. Ultimately this stay was just what my family of 4 needed. I wish we could've stayed longer!
