Very nice staff. Eager to accommodate their guests. Be aware that the two-story hotel has no elevator. My hubby and I were initially assigned a second-floor room when we arrived at 10 pm. Since he was still recovering from hip surgery, we asked for a first-floor room. The staff person did that for us.

Parking was very easy at this hotel. The room was large and spacious. The hotel was quiet. The check in clerk was very nice. Our complaint about the hotel is that there is no elevator. We are wondering how a 2-story hotel does not have an elevator in its interior. Bonus for this location---a fantastic laundromat just down the street. We went there TWICE!!!!

The property is close to Valley of the Fire state park. THe front desk hots were friendly and professional. Used the laundry facilities. (one washer and dryer). Limited dining in the local town. Our stay was pleasant.

The hotel is old, it looks like staff is trying to make it better, clean and take care of the property but the property is old, the smell in the whole property is unpleasant and 8.8 rate is misleading comparing to other much better and newer hotels.

Clean, lovely room. No weird smells. Comfortable bed and great shower. Only thing is that someone from housekeeping came in while we were sleeping, i had the "do not disturb" sign hanging on our door and the extra lock locked....so they didn't get far.
