Love this hotel . Its walking distance from the city is fabulous, a reason we return. The staff are welcoming the rooms in the courtyard are just a little dated decor wise. All being said it would not stop us returning.

The location of the hotel was perfect for walking to the city center and exploring all of the wonderful architecture and eateries along the way. Our room was charming, quiet and huge. Really friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice stay. Parking is limited, so be prepared to park on the street (at a cost) and the rooms have no air conditioning, so they are hot and sticky in the summer. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast!

Free Parking Lot! Great Location. No A/C!
No air conditioner. VERY hot with only a tiny fan in the room. I asked why the bathroom floor was heated. Was told it was directly over the boiler room! They gave us a second fan. We walked from hotel to most beautiful Magdalen College. Good dinner at Quod. Breakfast at hotel was typical and good.

The building was lovely. The staff was very welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us. Lovely room, very clean and well presented.lovely breakfast and evening meal. Plenty of food served. Bus stop right outside, plus you could walk in to Oxford town in 15mins, some great bars on the way. 10 out of 10 for myself and hubby.We had a Great stay.

The hotel is a quaint, beautiful English inn. The room was impeccably clean and well appointed, including a spa-like bathroom, very comfortable bed and window into lavender filled courtyard. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The location just on the fringe of the city center was quiet yet very walkable.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Unfortunately, it was uncharacteristically hot during our stay and the windows don't open and there is no air conditioning. Only a little crank window above the window opened, but not far enough to get much air. They provided us with a little fan, but it didn't do much. I might suggest either putting in windows that open or providing guests with a portable air conditioner. Other than that, it was fantastic!
