I've stayed at many La Quinta's over the years (out of nostalgia for childhood trips), and this one was the best in recent memory. The property was clean and well maintained, and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel was nice, clean, and comfortable. Our room 115 was directly across the hall from 2 ice machines. I asked to be moved and was not moved. The ice machines were loud. People filling coolers all night and early morning. We did not get good sleep both nights we were there.

A lot of things could have been better.
My stay was okay the room was nice the service good room nice and clean for me every morning bed comfortable the shower I did not really like it I had to stand close to the wall under the shower in order to shower and another thing I did not like there was no where to sit outside the hotel if you want to go out for a smoke or just sit and get fresh air I was there for 6 days had to go to home 2 sweet to sit outside their Hotel just to sit out and enjoy the fresh air I have bad hip and knees the weather was nice I wanted to sit outdoors and had to go to other hotels just to get a seat outside and I am 70 ask the manager about sitting because of my hip she told me I could have bought a chair with me I come all the way from Chicago for a 6 night stay why would you tell me I could have bought a chair that was kind of rude and another thing about the hotel in Oxford I do not like the idea of pools outside the hotel I prefer a hotel that have a pool inside the hotel but I will not B going back there oh and the breakfast there should have been a choice of to meat's it would have been nice if there was a choice of pork or turkey sausages not all turkey sausages I like pork sausage there was bacon once out of my 6 day stay and the bacon was way overcooked.
