Very comfortable rooms and if something is wrong the staff are happy to help. The restaurant is reasonably priced but the portions are a bit on the small size.
Room very comfortable but stairs and passage ways dirty. Food left on floors, carpets need cleaning or replacing. Coolers in bar not working so no cold drinks available and beer pumps not working. Was advised that Waitrose was next door to get drinks and the hotel would provide glasses

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
One of the better motorway services hotels, good for the price.
The rooms were tidy, but the toilets, baths, and sinks were stained with ingrained dirt that appeared to have built up over years. The carpets and furniture were old and visibly dirty, while the pillows and duvets were discoloured and yellowed. Families, placed there by the council, stood around the corridors, making us feel as though we were intruding on their homes. Adding to the discomfort, the corridors carried a noticeable smell of marijuana. Staff were helpful but the issues were out of their control.
I recently stayed here for a night and regret not staying somewhere else.
The room was freezing and the hotel noisy. There's zero sound insulation so I was woken in the night by someone in the room above going for a wee. In the morning I was woken by the same thing by the person in the room next to me.
I'd paid for breakfast and regret that. As someone who doesn't like a full English often there was very limited options aside from that - cereal and stale pastries. I'd have been better off going to Starbucks or service station.
This place is cheap for a reason. Do not let the brand name deceive you
Convenient comfortable and very good customer service as always. Just one change now required. ALL THIRD PARTY booking information needs to now be changed to clearly state that there is now a £5 per night charge for parking. This is currently VERY MISLEADING as the information when booking states parking as part of the hotel packages and CURRENTLY DOES NOT mention the charge. Huge thanks to the hotel manager and staff from myself for waiving the charge on this occasion. However I will be put off booking again if this charge applies and will not book through a third party which will limit cost choices.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
The booking included FREE BREAKFAST in the Expedia description. The hotel refused to provide breakfast as it wasn't noted as paid for or included. Poor service all round.
Stayed here a few times now and it’s always good . My only problem is this year I had to pay £15 to park for 3 nights when all the signs said free parking for guests. Little bit confused on that. Couldn’t get clarification from reception as to why this was.
