Very nice hotel in an ideal location. Lovely views of the harbour. Staff were great and provided a lovely service. The breakfast was good quality and executed to a high standard. Which you would hope for as it’s charged separately to your stay. Plenty of parking, again, charged ontop of your nightly stay. Easy to access by car and would stay again.
The Harbour Hotel in Padstow is a lovely hotel set in a great location with wonderful views over the Camel estuary. Belying the Victorian exterior, the interior has been renovated in a modern bright seaside style and is very welcoming. The reception and restaurant staff were incredibly helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good and there are paid options available @£10 each if you want a cooked breakfast. The view from the restaurant was amazing and our room had a lovely view over the harbour.
The only niggle we had was that the housekeeping was a bit hit or miss: our (one) loo roll was not replaced and a hand towel put in the bath for replacement never reappeared - we had to ring up reception to obtain a top up/new towel. The topping up of the tea/coffee was also sporadic - I think this was all on one day so maybe they had a blip but it should be better supervised.
However, overall we had a great stay with excellent service and the free bike hire was a real bonus - the Camel Trail by bike is a must and starts about 100 yeards from the hotel.
We had an amazing stay. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in. The views over the estuary over to Rock was wonderful from our bedroom. We would highly recommend it.
Great view of Padstow. Room could have been better arranged so that you good sit and look at view. Breakfast had great choice, but only for a short stay. Is up the hill to get the view so walking up and down to town could be a challenge for the less mobile.

Next to Rick Steins amazing restaurant.
Will return to the restaurant but stay in an alternative hotel.
The hotel is fine but overpriced. Particularly disappointing were the extra charges for parking and a cooked breakfast, bearing in mind the cost of the stay.
Very nice except the parking at the property was horrendous. You were to scared to move your car for fear you would t find a parking spot on you return.
Great hotel, did not like or appreciate the hidden
Hotel is lovely staff are excellent. My only disappointment is the extras. I paid £185 for a room with breakfast only to find out that it covered continental only and if I wanted to upgrade to full English I could but at an extra cost. On checking out there was any another stealth cost for parking of £10. Really, we’re in Cornwall not a major city centre and the hotel own the car park. This tainted what was a lovely stay
Beautifully renovated, very stylish superb art very comfy room, delightful bathroom. Food was delicious and service very good. Thank you for a great stsy
3 wonderful nights there was a couple of minor issues but hotel very quickly put these right, staff were great room was lovely amazing view there was minor things like dust and windows / shutters showing signs of wear but didn’t effect stay, food and drinks / cocktails were fabulous, would definitely recommend and Will defiantly return
This is a beautiful and perfectly located hotel in Padstow.
Room 8 is lovely, stylishly decorated and i loved the shuttered windows.
I was particularly grateful for and delighted with the decanted of Gin in my room.
The bed was huge and comfortable.
There is a working harbour/port outside the window so it could be noisy.
Parking in the hotels own car park is £10 per night.
Continental breakfast was included in my stay.
