Harbour Hotel is very well situated, just about 3-4 mins walk from the main harbour in Padstow. The hotel is very well appointed and in great condition with all common areas well designed and maintained. The rooms are small but the beds & pillows are very comfortable and the bathrooms modern and well-organized. The restaurant and bar were comfy with a great buffet + a la carte combination for breakfast. The hotel sits on the hill above Padstow bay but unfortunately only a small percentage of the rooms have a view, the rest are over the car park or the road. The restaurant / bar does have a view but there is industrial activity on the jetties just opposite the hotel so it's not as picturesque as it could be. The car park round the side is quite small and gets full quite quickly though the staff went out of their way to find us a space (for example right outside the hotel front) if there were no obvious ones. Service was exemplary throughout, front desk and bar / restaurant staff very professional and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend the Harbour Hotel in Padstow for a short break.
We really enjoyed the experience It was comfortable with lovely touches
Best of all every member of staff was cheerful and helpful
The restaurant was ‘special’
Had an fantastic stay, the hotels position within Padstow is a real bonus, being central but with parking and a wonderful sunny lawn.
The hotel was clean and bright with attentive and helpful staff.
My spacious and airy room overlooked the harbour with a great view, huge comfortable bed, coffee machine and tea making too.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Hotel starting to look tired .
Irritating that the hotel no longer offers a cooked breakfast unless you pay an upgrade charge.
The plates offered with the continental breakfast were small tea plates when we asked for normal size plates the response was we only offer large plates with a cooked breakfast !!
Lovely staff & food. Needs attention to carpets but overall very good.
However to have shampoo, body wash etc screwed down is ridiculous. Unable to access these when in shower or bath!
Gin & tonic in room is a nice touch
Very good but parking difficult at times.
If booking direct with the hotel, one
saves the £10.00 per night charge we discovered later!!
Hotel very clean and comfortable.
Loved my breakfast on the seaview terrace. The staff was amazingly helpful and fun.

We pad £235 for one night for the room which advertises port views for that price. We ended up in a very small room overlooking the car park. So make sure if you pay £235 that’s advertising port views you get it. We went to the bar / restaurant for a drink at 4.30 and went to sit near the window to look out at the views and immediately a man came over and told us we had to move because all the tables were for dinner. It was 4.30 and empty so we had to move back into the bar area that had no sea views whatever.. I have stayed in some amazing hotels but this one is above average for a night and you expect a nice welcome and a nice room so would not recommend this hotel
