Poor housekeeping

Just back from 8 nights and the 1st 2 days the rooms were not serviced and when I approached the cleaner in the corridor at 5:30 pm he just kept saying that he had been really busy . I said that wasn’t my issue and that I was going to reception to complain and he told me to go to reception……. Thankfully I spoke with the deputy manager and the situation was quickly resolved

The fairground opposite the hotel, blocking the promised sea view when booking. The noise levels even on the beach were extremely loud and no better in the hotel room. One night until 10pm. This was not mentioned when we booked this hotel, which is regretable because the hotel itself is of the higest standard and cannot be critised.

Very clean in all areas, especially the rooms and vacuumed. The bed was too soft, apart from that, lovely room, very spacious. Breakfast was good, lots on offer. Short walking distance to/from train and bus station Would recommend and would stay afain

Check in states from 3pm we arrived at the hotel for around 2.45 and was told that housekeeping was behind and room wasnt ready i then asked again around 3.10 and room still wasnt ready we were left waiting with a 1 year old till around 4.30pm when our room was finally ready this wasnt just us quite a few people were waiting too. The room was clean and nice however weve all became ill with having the air con on which we had to have on because the room was very warm and no windows to open so air con was the only option. We did have to leave for a emergency which i did tell the staff member on the desk and her response was 'i dont think ill be able to refund you' i never asked this i was just letting them know so if they wanted to use the room they could.
