A paradise in a paradise
This is a truly lovely place to stay. I only wish we could have more time. Sue, Kim and their staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and just what we had hoped for. Breakfast and dinner were an experience not to be missed. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful, personable hosts, providing individualized care. Extraordinarily beautiful property and rooms, located right on the Camino Primitivo, and easily connecting back to the the Camino Frances. We were really glad we made the choice to stay here!

Overnight stay with a touch of luxury
Stayed here overnight on our "camino primitivo". Fabulous!! We got an upgrade as we were the only guests so early in the season. Lovely room, comfy bed, bath and shower etc. Owners Kim and Sue are really helpful and friendly. Evening meal available (good as nothing else in the area), with lots of choice and cooked to order. Set meal is 20€, wine very reasonably priced. Breakfast is 6€, plentiful and delicious! We had the continental, cooked is also available. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it, especially to anyone looking for a bit of luxury!

This was the best place on our Camino route. So worth the taxi ride off the trail. The inside of this place is unbelievable! And the hosts Kim and Sue were utterly delightful. You feel like you’re staying in a castle with all the modern amenities. This is frankly the coolest place we’ve ever stayed at period....on or off the trail. Book this place! You won’t be sorry.

So relaxing
Wonderful place in the countryside, so relaxing. It's situated on the Camino Primitivo but is only a 20 minute taxi ride from Camino Frances at Palas de Rei & well worth it. The room was lovely & very comfortable. The English hosts were very nice & very helpful. The dinner cooked by Sue was superb & worth staying there just for that, but the breakfast was a bit disappointing being only yoghurt, toast & jam.

Superb accommodation with great attention to detai
I would highly recommend this place. Decor comfort hospitality of hosts amazing. The evening meal was excellent and the best we had whilst walking the Camino. The only negatives were I was a little disappointed in being charged for tea when I had supplied the tea bags and breakfast was not as good as others I had but overall it was worthy of five stars and I would stay here again.

Great Inn on Camino Primitivo.
Great small inn along the Camino Primitivo. Lovely accommodations run by friendly British couple. Taxied here from Palas de Rei on Camino Francais. Did a nice additional 6 mike loop on Primitivo that day which was great. Very comfortable room. Good meal. Walked the Primitivo to Melide in the morning which was beautiful although mainly on a road but very peaceful. Highly recommend staying here.

A bit far to get too, but a beautiful place
We were greeted warmly by our hosts. We are arrived wet, dirty and grumpy after a long day on the Camino. A warm fire, wine and beautiful surroundings greeted us and made us feel at home. Great food, company and a lovely find

Casa Camino
Our hosts, Kim and Sue, made us feel perfectly at home for three days. They are the perfect hosts. The setting, the wonderful food, the attention to detail, and the warmth of this place are all beyond compare. If you're looking for a little respite in your travels, this is the place!

THE BEST HOTEL ON THE CAMINO - SPECTACULAR
This is the BEST hotel on the Camino. A perfectly restored 900 year old building. The owners were the perfect hosts. The food was spectacular. We stayed at the Casa Camino on our overnight in Palis de Rey. The hotel is a 15 minute cab ride (10E - and worth every penny) into the mountains. The next morning when we continued our Camino we chose to stay on the Primativo which is just outside their front door. It was our best day. The French Way is very very crowded and busy. We only saw 9 other pilgrams the entire day. We rejoined the French Way in Melida. Do yourself a favor and book this hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Casa Camino Tourism Rural for one night during our walking of the Camino. It was easily the best accommodation and dinner of our trip. The owners are extremely friendly and have restored the building amazingly and the dinner was excellent. We highly recommend this Casa Rural.

Absolutely superb property. The attention to detail is wonderful. I stayed in the beautiful Roble room, and will definitely return. The only downside of my sejour was that it was only one night.

Best Stay on the Camino!!
Look no further for a place to stay whether you're a visiting tourist or walking the Primitivo or Frances Camino. The house looks brand new, but parts of it are 800 yrs old and another part 400 years old. The owners are friendly, funny, and helpful and make your stay perfect. It is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. It is outside Palas de Rei, kind of in the middle of nowhere, but quiet and peaceful! They serve a feast fit for a king at dinner and also a great variety for breakfast. The room we had was big with a sitting area and a great bathroom and shower. Incredibly comfy bed! Tv, toiletries, wifi, extra pillows, and big (true) King bed. This was our best stay on the Camino. Worth every penny! We came in on the Frances and left on the Primitivo to Melide. Perfect stay-highly recommend!!
